We found this place to be charming, with its quirky blend of French country and modernist art. The bathrooms had all modern fixtures. Our rooms were adjacent, so our small balconies abutted on each other. They were not big enough to hang out on, but I could fit a chair on it and comfortably sit and read early in the... More

Nice 3-night stay here. Owners are great, friendly, welcoming and helpful, can't say enough nice things about them. Breakfast is an excellent continental with fresh local stuff, good start to the day. Our room was nice & big for a triple, plenty of room for all of us. Bathroom was good, too, good shower - hot & pressure. I had... More

Got in late after being lost cycling. So, unfortunately, did not really get to enjoy this place as much as we could have. It's much like a B&B atmosphere and the fellows running things were fabulous. Older place, reminded me of my grandmother's house except there was avante garde art EVERYWHERE. It was a gallery unto itself and extremely interesting.... More

We chose Uzes as a base for our exploration of the South. We have been to the costal region many times and specifically planned this to be a village tour. Uzes seemed the perfect base for this as you'd reach the Provence on the east and Languedoc easily. We loved Uzes for its small town charm with the twice weekly... More

I was looking forward to breakfast every day - it was fresh and healthy. The building is old but well maintained, with a perfect location. Some furniture could be updated, but a good experience overall for a fair price.

We stayed here with a bicycle tour group so Uzes is bike friendly, which is always a plus with us. The owners are warm and friendly, as has been mentioned before. Our room was one of a kind on the third floor, and I'll post photos...it had wonderful art and stairs from a former life that lead nowhere but were... More

The hotel is decorated very nicely and is immaculate. Good location. Our room was in the back on the alley so I didn't think street noise would be a problem, but a small group at the pizza cafe kept us up past midnight on a Tuesday! The room was very nice otherwise, but I would have appreciated a top sheet instead of... It's quirky and endearing. If you are willing to put up with some idiosyncracies, you will have a memorable and enjoyable experience here. First, Uzes' parking situation is rather frustrating. The meters nearest the hotel are few and only good for 30 minutes at a time. Nine hour meters (in both cases pay parking is forgiven between noon to two... More

We spent a night here this week . Very pleasant experience . The owner was very friendly and welcoming . Rooms were beautiful and decorated with interesting works and collectibles as was the rest of the hostellerie . Breakfast was outstanding and the location ( 200 m ) from la Place des Herbes could not have been better .

Our experience with this hotel was wonderful from start to finish. The hosts were very helpful with luggage, reservations and all our questions! The room was large by European standards with traditional Provençal decor. The shower was huge with a door that kept the water within the shower! Also, in the room were bathrobes and slippers for each guest. The... More
