The Hotel Balladins is right next to the railway station. So, if you are arriving or going by train you have only 200 metres to walk with your luggage. It is also handy to get a taxi if you are going to the airport.
I paid 50 euros which I thought was good. The rooms are fine and breakfast simple - but that is what you expect in a more functional hotel.
There are eating places very close but 10 minutes due east down the Avenue General de Gaulle takes you to the attractive centre of Perpignan with plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and things to see. More
