Glorious location with fantastic views, and honey-coloured buildings right in the midst of the vineyards, but the longer we stayed the more disappointed we became. Thanks to a special offer we booked for 3 nights - intending to enjoy the advertised (but non-existent) relaxing ambience and "renowned" food. One would have been enough. The pool was tiny and in the... More

This was the second time we had visited, as we love the wines and thought lighting can't strike twice. BUT WE WERE WRONG we were looking forward to the restaurant and a fine selection of wines (they were all corked the first time) only to be told "it's Monday the restaurant is closed" surely they must understand this is why... When we arrived we had issues getting wifi, although from the minute we meet with Nadia on reception everything was perfect, she really made our stay so much so that our 2 night stay turn into a 4 night stay, this place really makes you feel relaxed in the middle of a vineyard what more could you ask for?, we... My partner and I visited the vineyard recently and were glad to find out that there was a free tour of the property with some wine tasting at the end. The girl giving the tour was an English student on a year abroad from Manchester university studying French and I have to say I think she did a great job.... More

Had an image in our mind of a romantic winery. Instead found ourselves in a tourist trap. Room was OK. "Special" jazz concert was okay, but the ambiance in the room was like sitting in a brightly lit hotel conference room. Special wine pairings with dinner were very good, except there was only a sip to be had of each... More

Various stays in this peachful paradise place with winery shop and excellent casual restaurant. Place as such is amazingly beautiful, rooms modern, luminous and large in size. Artisan ateljees in court yard and amazing view to Mediterranean and La Clape vineyards from near by hill, after some fysical climb. Swimming pool for pleasure but not for sport activities and breakfast... More

Hello Pasi, Thank you for this very positive review on Tripadvisor! It is a great pleasure to see that all of our services enjoyed you. Including the rise of the "spot", this is how we call the small hill where you can observe the sea and our Domaine. As for breakfast, this is actually a Mediterranean one but you can... More

We diverted here en route back from Barcelona to the UK and it was like a haven. The swimming pool was a cool welcome after a drive in the afternoon heat. Nice spacious rooms and a nice touch of a free bottle of wine. Good French breakfast and a nice walk in the vineyard. Plenty of parking.

Hello, Thank you for taking time to let us this very positive feedback about the Château l'Hospitalet. The location of our domain makes it the perfect stopover between sea and mountains, surrounded by vineyards. We hope to see you again for a new experience of the Mediterranean Art de Vivre with Gerard Bertrand wines. Kind regards, More

Chateau L'Hospitalet will always be special as it was our first stop on our first trip to France. It is tucked away in the French countryside, among the vineyards of Bernard Bertrand, rolling hills and winding roads, about three kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea. The beautiful views of the endless vineyards and rock jutted hilltops are amazing! The breakfast buffet... More

Hello, It is with great pleasure that we discover your very positive comment! It is true that the Dinner-concerts on Jazz Fridays are unmissable at Château l'Hospitalet: combining the cuisine of our Chef Laurent Chabert, Jazz music from many local groups and of course Gérard Bertrand wines give an unforgettable experience. We hope to see you soon! More

Sadly only stayed one night. The reception staff were extremely helpful & informative. We had 2 rooms. One was larger than the other & they were both very comfortable & their cleanliness could not be faulted. The vineyard is beautiful & we duly purchased wine at a reasonable price. We had a 'bon' for a free bottle of wine per... More
