Our tour operator booked our group into a hotel closing down immediately after we depart. That is a terrible time to stay someplace. They were out of everything we wanted - at the bar, bathroom amenities, etc. Our room was tiny and had no drawers...More
This place was filthy and I would never recommend it to anyone. We were not told that it is closing down on the 1st October for a year for refurbishment. I think it would take knocking it down and rebuilding it for it to be...More

Hi there - you can walk from the train station, through the town centre as long as you don't have much luggage or kids in tow. We took a taxi from right outside which cost (from memory) 10-15 Euros and took about ten minutes. Due to the historic centre the taxi has to go around it so is not as direct as walking. If you are a fit adult with a backpack you could walk in 15-20 minutes - it is about one mile. Best of luck! Andrew
