Camping l'Eden used to be a very good camp site, and families from all over France and Europe went back year after year. We camped there for 20 years, in a tent, a trailer tent and then a caravan. But gradually they reduced the number of camping pitches, and erected cabins - very dark and gloomy - and put in more and more mobile homes. The toilet blocks were not refurbished properly. There was limited space, but more and more things were shoved in for entertainment. Access always was difficult, and the car park outside not big enough. We have stopped visiting this site - it used to be a good 4 star site - but is not good now it seems. And the 5 stars are for the number of facilities, not for the quality. We went in to have a look this year, and the whole atmosphere is different - and worse. It's a shame. More

If you do not mind early noises from the neighbour's childrens and overall promiscuity, then the very small cabins in this campsite provide a cosy shelter for vacations at the beach.
Staff is super friendly, camping shop super expensive, and having a heated pool makes up for bad weather, specially in early or late season.
if you do not expect too much from a campsite in this part of France (overcrowded, windy, not very clean), l'Eden is your typical «camping», and surely not worse than most.
oh, and fast and free wifi accessible at the bar close to the pool, good point...
