I have given this five stars, because four is just a little under what it should get. So, 4.5 then! Its about a 15 minute stroll to the Arc de Triomphe, but don't let that out you off. Depending on how you get here, don't let that out you off either because it seemed perfectly safe and quiet to us.... More

Good location; perfect location between INRA and Old Town Montpellier. Rooms are small but nice. . . our room was in the front with a small balcony with views of the aqueduct. Welcoming areas downstairs and in the back gardens to hang out. Staff is very friendly. Nice breakfast.

A very welcoming, attractive and comfortable boutique hotel in a quiet but central and lovely area of Montpellier. A perfect choice for our one night stay in the city. Lovely ground floor room with our own decked patio where we chose to have our plentiful petit dejeuner the next morning as well as a drink on arrival the previous afternoon.... More

This hotel is well located with very good access to the center of town. The room was very small, but this is to be expected with older buildings and should not be held against this hotel. It has a nice garden / terrace which was simply not usable due to the swarms of mosquitoes. Perhaps some mosquito repellent would make... More

Stayed here for a night traveling with my boyfriend. We were greeted by a lovely lady at the concierge who was helpful in finding dinner. Two other staff gentleman staff members were just as accommodating and friendly-- they really made our experience--thank you! The room was quaint and comfortable and although it was a bit small, it was very cozy... More

Great location and very well priced. The hotel staff are very friendly. The breakfast was pretty decent, just beware the mosquitos. No real frills, but that's what we expected. Rooms are on ur small size, but we're nice and clean. Showers were good, don't expect a bath (some rooms have, some don't, so request a bath if important).

As seasoned independent travellers we were delighted to discover this truly stylish, traditional small French hotel in the middle of vibrant Montpellier. The staff were very helpful and friendly and waited on us with efficent good humour. We had a superior room with a brand new bathroom and comfortable king size bed. Drinks and meals were served in the luxuriant... More

Not clean. Scruffy. Not help offered. Insulting managerial staff when complained to. No help offered to get to airport in Montpellier which has one of the most difficult traffic systems made by man. My advice to anyone is to avoid this hotel.

Dear sir Reading such a insulting review about our hotel is not but an easy way to provide false and subjective informations needed to be cleared up. On one hand: You booked in in our hotel on August 2015 23thd, for one night. We kindly remain you that Montpellier had to face an extremely violent flood on that day. You... More

We arrived yesterday for a 4 night stay in Montpellier and were immediately impressed with Hotel des Arceaux (pronounced ah-so). Its position is beautiful and we were met with a very friendly, warm greeting . However, this charming place does come with a few warnings that might influence your decision to stay. Firstly,if you have a mobility problem, or simply... More
