The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was very difficult to get to, there 2 other hotels with the same name! The parking entrance was really SMALL, the breakfast was great and it was very well located. The downside, a big one, was that the garbage truck passes next to the hotel... More

Easy to get to from the airport. Take shuttle bus -once an hour on the hour from outside terminal then transfer across the road at Place de Europe onto tram number 1. Get off at Place de la Comedie and you are there. We stayed in room 3 which was very quiet despite being at the front of the hotel.... More

This hotel is located just off Place de la Comedie near trams and restaurants and the heart of the old town. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but clean and fine. Despite the location, the sound-proofing was good. There is a little lift which is handy for suitcases. No tea or coffee making faciities.

In a quiet side street without traffic, 20 metres from the bustline Place de la Comedie, the eponymous hotel is a good bet for a simple and reasonably priced stay at a central location. Cross the Place and you are in the maze of streets and lanes of Montpellier's central "ecusson" district, with plenty of bars and funky restaurants. Head... More

Had a wonderful 3 day stay here. Very friendly people; simple but comfortable room in an ideal location. Although I was unwell, I could get out and about and rest in between times due to the central location. I plan to return...

The Hotel de la Comedie is in a wonderful location for those who wish to explore the Old City area of Montpellier. The staff was kind, helpful and pleasant. The room we had was on the 5th floor and had a small balcony. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. For those wishing to have a pleasant rat spot, this is... More

I think this is one of the most memorable stays we have had. Absolutely correct price: no unnecessary frills but comfortable beds, soft towels, clean rooms, very helpful and informative staff, wonderful central location but just off the main thoroughfare and so quiet. The hotel was full when we stayed but had very little disturbance from the neighbouring rooms. The... More

This hotel has a good location, right in front of Place de la Comedie, close to many of Montpellier attractions. The room was a little cramped and a little cold at night, but for one night was okay. The staff was friendly, but it seems they didn't know the area very well because they couldn't anwer when I asked of... More

This is by no means a "luxury" hotel, but I knew that from previous Trip advisor reviews. What it is is a quirky, friendly and small hotel -the type I prefer to stay in rather than a budget chain hotel. I'd asked for a single room, higher up and I was on the 4th (top) floor-there is a lift! The... More
