We were staying in Collioure for one night and this has to be the best location ever - but a tip - do book a room looking out on the sea front and pay a little extra for a balcony - also have the breakfast - basic but they have everything. Hotel room is small but no bother if only... More

We chose Triton for a one night stop as part of our journey from UK to Barcelona, mainly due to its sea view location. The existing Trip Advisor warnings about the condition of the hotel were noted and we decided to take a risk. The views from our balcony were amazing and it's location right on the beach and close... Just a few steps from the hotel entrance and you get to the central beach. A public parking is located just a few steps further, however, you may wait a while for a free parking space. We enjoyed the rich breakfast and the views of the harbour.

After reading previous reviews on this site I was a little concerned, but knew the location of the hotel and thought I would chance it. The staff are brilliant. I have just had my flight home cancelled due to industrial action by air traffic control in France. The staff at this hotel despite speaking only broken English, extended our stay,... More

Which is the few rooms that offer a view from a balcony, which we had one of. We did not take breakfast as it was even more overpriced if you added their extra charge (every other place we stayed breakfast included). 3 out of 6 lights in the room worked. The bathroom smells and the shower head has nothing to... More

Just returned from a weekend break at the Triton. Arrived to be greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist with very little english but we managed to communicate with each other with lots of gesture. Room was basic in the extreme but clean and the view was spectacular. Had a lovely stay here and all the staff we met couldnt have... More

In short this hotel has a stunning location, BUT paper thin walls, and a shower system that was so poor it beggared belief, room was tiny, in short I will never stay here again, please don't make our mistake of location over quality, "it's just a place to sleep" not if you've got a crying child a couple of doors up it... what a let down, all looks great from outside and views are brilliant but we were transferred to the annexe across the road. Same great views but rooms that have had no money spent on them for 30 years. Everything felt tired and grubby. Wouldn't go back if they offered the room free. Breakfast was fine but great location and... More

We recently stayed at this hotel. All I say is look elsewhere. We were being watched by the owner while we ate breakfast and made to feel guilty if we dared have an extra bread roll! The room itself was shabby to say the least also very noisy! On checking out we were overcharged and the owner became highly agitated, hostile and aggressive... More
