Despite the wet and windy May weather, we enjoyed our 11-night stay. Our first holiday without hiring a car and we managed to keep ourselves occupied - walking along the Canal du Midi, visiting local villages by bus and train (despite the strike), strolling to the Cite. Daniele is an excellent host and provided delicious breakfasts and copious advice. The... More

Lots of good points here. Free secure parking. Spacious rooms. Pleasant gardens and patio areas. Swimming Pool. Very nice breakfast. Charming host. A short walk to la cite (and in doing so, you can smile cheerfully at all the other visitors paying for the expensive parking as you walk past the large car parks). Would happily return and stay again.

This was our second time visiting Le Jardin and once again our stay was excellent. This gem is situated as close to the Medieval City as you can get, yet it is a quiet refuge with nicely landscaped grounds that include a variety of fragrant plants and ornamental bushes, an inground pool, plenty of spaces to sit and relax, and... We stayed here for a week in late September - an ideal place. Not too far to walk to the Cite in the evening for drinks & food, only 20 mins to the town area. Daniele is an excellent host. Lovely breakfasts - plenty of choice with fresh crepes or omlette some mornings. Her garden is lovely and it's nice... More

Stayed at Le Jardin de la citie with my daughters ..absolutely brilliant. The location is perfect just a 5 min walk to la citie, 20 mins to the town centre and 25 to the station. We walked everywhere no need for a car. It was only 10 mins drive from airport (taxi 20Euros). We took the train one day to... More

We spent three nights in Carcassonne last month at this lovely bed and breakfast. We had adjoining rooms with family. Each room was very well appointed, spotlessly clean overlooking a garden where we could sit in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine. It was all we had hoped for and more. Dany, our hostess, was so kind and... More

If you want the detailed description of how wonderful this place is, see my earlier review of September 2011 - nothing's changed - it's still perfect. This trip, my wife and I were accompanied by our 16 year-old granddaughter and her school-chum and, since we were staying a full week, we were a little concerned that they might get bored.... More

Great breakfast all items are homemade. The lady that owns this lovely B&B was very helpful and made our stay very special. Would throughly... More

We had a wonderful 3 nights stay here. It is in a fantastic location, a few minutes walk to the walled city. Dany is the most wonderful hostess, nothing is too much trouble and her breakfast is great. We stayed in 2 lovely adjoining rooms and we could sit outside in her lovely garden for a drink before dinner. We... More

Having taken many weeks looking at hotels, self catering and other B&B's for our 5 night stay in Carcassonne, I saw this one on trip advisor. The reviews are spot on. The location of this B&B is perfect - a 5 minute flat walk to the Walled City for all the attractions and restaurants etc. Dany was the perfect host.... More
