Staying at The Hotel du Chateau was like a fairy tale. So close to the historic city, this hotel is tastefully and effectively designed, offering magical views of the chateau; both by night when you sip your glass of wine with the flood lit view of the chateau; throughout the day e.g. breakfast on the terrace. Our room was large... More

A superb hotel which we have no hesitation in recommending. We had the "red" room which was very red and took some getting used to, but it was very comfortable. The hotel is so close to the castle you can see when it is busy and decide whether to be a tourist and wander around or just laze by the... More

The room was very tiny and cramped. The staff were efficient and professional although maybe too busy to be particularly friendly. Rooms were clean but no coffee/teas facilities. I do not believe there was value for money.

We stayed here for one night having stayed at their sister hotel earlier in the year (The Montmorency). We love the vibe of this hotel. It's very comfortable, clean and the staff are very helpful. It's so convenient for exploring La Cité and the views are spectacular. The breakfasts are really good and the rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely... More

A superb hotel, giving the most wonderful service and in the perfect location to explore the castle. Very comfortable, clean rooms, and super breakfast. We would highly recommend this hotel as it is not only in the best position but the staff are very friendly and helpful.

An upmarket stylish hotel in the perfect position just outside the city walls. Sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine gazing at the old town is an ideal way to spend an evening. We stumped up enough to ensure we had a very nice room indeed - a junior suite down by the pool, which was spotless, spacious... More

The location deserves 5 stars and more. We too stayed in a small basement room not to our liking but it was very clean, adequately furnished, with a most comfortable mattress and pillows. Staff is young and cold in manner. Parking is extra. Hotel du Chateau is worth the money because of the beauty of its location in the shadow... More

Stopped for 1 night. Location is top notch. but that is where it stopped. The room is in the basement, with view of the parking lot. The spa is on the same level, but can't use spa facilities without extra fee. The shower is soooo tiny, its impossible to get in fully, and I am petite. The part that upset... More

The location is amazing, as well as the garden of the hotel and pool with jacuzzi. Somebody should definetely give a bath to the two hotel dogs because it is your first instinct to pet them, followed by an instant regret, because they smell as if they were dead for 2 months already..
