Stayed for 3 nights in November and had a very pleasant stay. Room was large, newly decorated,, spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The bed was comfy and the room was warm even with no heating on. Tea and coffee making facilities provided in the room and breakfast was available for about 8 euros (didn't try the breakfast and chose to...

The hotel appears to be run-down on the outside but is very nice on the inside. The rooms are spacious and clean. Reception is very helpful, and friendly. It is only a few minutes to walk to Place Carnot, and then La Cité is about a 20 minute walk from there. We had no problem with the internet - it...

I thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay here for my foray into Carcassonne. The hotel was easy to find and reach from the station, and if the approach was a little off putting the warmth and kindness from Zera made up for any misgivings I may have had. From the moment I arrived, pretty worn out from a long journey,...

Joyless establishment (like so many in France), fronted by a rather depressed and depressing receptionist ( I would be too if I had to work there) it served its purpose which was to be housed cheaply for one night before moving on. Beige beige beige everywhere,a poky little room but heck the heater worked and there was wifi.. so....

Quirky hotel in a run down street but do not be put off. The owner and wife are charming and very helpful. Great sense of humour. Room was clean pretty and very comfortable . However, the toilet was fitted into the tiniest slot of a huge bathroom which made use a little tricky for us large ladies. Breakfast was continental,good...

As others have said, it is a good 15-20 min walk to the walled city and the walk back at night was a little intimidating (empty laneways and limited lighting). The room was very comfortable and large, the bathroom in particular was big. Unfortunate timing that the tree trimming across the road (5 metres from the hotel) started at 7am...

A return visit to this friendly family run hotel. Monsieur and Madame Richards go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We had room 29 on this trip, which has been recently renovated and has the added bonus of a terrace. Air conditioning is also an added bonus on hot nights.Towels and linen are all spotless. The hotel...

Stayed two separate nights in this hotel which is situated very handy to the railway station and the city centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a big very clean room with an interesting porthole window. There was air conditioning but didn't use it. Also had an excellent breakfast. A great stay and we'll come back again.

I found it very clean. It is close to the train station. No air-conditioning, no wind blower. It is difficult to sleep in hot days. Not a good choise during summer. And the toilet is outside the room.

Good evening Shunnrei, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on tripadvisor . Sure , you had booked a single room with the toilet outside . But the hotel also offers comfortable rooms equipped with king size bed , TV, bathroom and air conditioning. We hope to see you again! La reception

Stayed in this hotel for a one night stay in Carcassonne on the way back from a long trip. While modestly sized the room and bathroom were very comfortable. We also went for the breakfast in the morning which was well worth it for the excellent cup of coffee alone. The staff were also brilliantly friendly Overall excellent value for...
