I stayed here over a month and was charmed by the French experience. The host was welcoming, entertaining, and helpful. He welcomed me to his home, not just his business. The breakfasts were way above average, the room was clean and comfortable, the garden was a fun place to relax with a glass of wine, and, for me, everything was...

Quirky owner, who was initially a little reserved but warmed up and was very helpful. Room was small, but clean, and all I needed. The bed was a little musty but generally I slept well and the shutters meant it was blackout dark. Easy walk to the new town and less than a mile walk from the station and a...

A real experience of the true France - wonderful host with great local knowledge and understanding - lovely rustic B&B which my wife and I rally enjoyed - our first trip to Carcassonne and after doing the old city really enjoyed the rest of our time in the new town - a lovely experience

My partner and I stayed here in April and found it a delightful place to stay. A great host who served a fantastic continental breakfast. There is also a pretty patio and garden which was great for having some wine and cheese in the evening. This place has loads of interesting, character set in a lovely, old house. Ideal for...

Quiet, comfortable and full of character - this B and B is a charming place to stay. The host is helpful and offers lots of information and advice. The breakfast is plentiful and well worth paying for. It is a short walk to the station, the Canal du Midi, the river and the medieval city.

It was nice to get away from bland hotels for a while. This old house has character and charm. The rooms are large and furnished with interesting pieces. The bathrooms have larger than normal showers. It's in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes walk from the railway station and 20 minutes from the castle. The owner is friendly and helpful...

As other reviews have stated, if you want to stay in a modern hotel where every room looks the same there are plenty in Carcassonne. However if you want to stay in a lovely old house with period furniture then this is for you.The rooms are large, the ensuite is modern and breakfast in the garden is superb. Added to...
