This hotel has a number of pros and cons. The biggest pro is that it is 5 minutes walk to the palace of Versailles so a great location. It is also close to bars, cafes and restaurants. The staff were quite helpful. Our room was quite big for a city based hotel and here ends the pros. The hotel is part of a wider residential apartment block and there was quite a lot of noise during the night. The room was a little tired, some of the power outlets did not work and we couldn't get the TV to show TV programmes, just hotel info. I couldn't find any instructions to work the TV. The biggest problem with the hotel is the cost versus the quality. We would have expected a much higher standard for the price we paid and the cost of parking was a substantial additional expense. We probably will not stay here when we next visit Versailles. …
Hotel dusty on arrival, room very small staff friendly, Breakfast good face masks to be warn and disposable gloves to wear mandatory while picking buffet breakfast hot and cold food Good location for Versailles palace 2 minutes away with restaurants 100 meter# away not expensive and good food other restaurants good clean and friendly 5 minutes walk
Stayed at this hotel for two days on our way home from the Pyrenees region. The receptionist was very friendly, and gave us an upgrade on our room. The room was large well furnished, and very clean. The hotel has an underground car park which was very convenient for us as we were able to leave luggage in the car that we didn't require. There was about twenty restaurants within a five minute walk, we dined in two which were excellent. The palace of Versailles is literally a short stroll from the hotel, and if you don't wish to pay to see the palace the gardens are free to wander in. We had lunch in the palace gardens restaurant which was delisious, and not expensive. The place is not open on a Monday although you can still go into the gardens.
We booked a family room which was plenty big enough for a family of 4. The decor was unusual with a full wall Versailles scene which added to the character. Unlike some other reviews we found our room to be clean and nicely decorated. We overlooked a large ish courtyard and it was very quiet. The reception staff were very friendly and it was set up well for covid precautions. We didn't need to park in the hotels carpark as during August parking is free in certain areas on the road. The hotel us situated in a quiet side street where there was plenty of parking at this time. Its a very short walk to the Palace which was handy especially after the night-time fireworks which finish quite late. There's lots of restaurants close by to chose from too
A bit dull looking from the outside but very well kept on the inside. Friendly and competent staff, full compliance of COVID rules, French breakfast and good size rooms. Good free wi-fi and they do have parking. Very close to the Chateau and walking distance to everything.
