Rooms are clean, location over canal is interesting, bed is comfortable, it is a straight ride on Metro 7 to the center, staff is professional and helpful. However, for an American traveller there are a lot of misses. No early check in--guests are required to wait until 3 pm to check in (there was a line of exhausted overseas travellers who had arrived in Paris hours earlier). No hairdryer in the room. No refrigerator. No bath amenities other than shampoo. Rudimentary "closet" and "dresser." No bottled water in room. So far as I know, no guest laundry on site. Long line for breakfast.

Family of 3, we really enjoyed this hotel. We'd a family room over looking the canal. Others have mentionned the lively area but its not as if they roll on until the wee hours, except the night before Bastille day where the fire brigade stations party until the morning near enough. We've been to Paris many times but must have missed this tradition. Continental breakfast every morning, and as others have mentionned the hot breakfast wasn't always on, which must be down to local circumstances. Clean, good sized, air conditioned room, something we were very glad of in 36º heat on some days. Staff were always friendly and helped us with some queries. Car parking at the hotel itself is expensive, try the Interparking at Rue Riquet and only 4 minutes walk away. There are alot of restaurants in the local area for dinner, we ordered pizza one night and had sushi from the place directly across from the hotel, the Bento boxes were great. La Villette basin is part of the Quai de la Seine whereby those areas are turned into a 'beach' vibe, with boats, kida areas and large open air seating to eat and drink, in this case provided by two of the bistros across and just a 100 yards from the hotel. Travel into Paris is fastest by Metro, Riquet station line 7, although Crimee´is an alternative. Allow 20-30 min goin in as after you are just inside the Peripherique in the 19th eme. i would recommend the hotel and happily go back again.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing until our last day. The night before our flight we booked a taxi to the airport for the following morning for 5 people (we didn’t mind if it was 2 small taxis or one big taxi we just needed to get to the airport) the reception said that was no problem, taxi is booked so don’t worry about it. The next morning we waited for our taxi for 20 minutes and still nothing. When I asked reception staff they said the taxi was never booked that we were In a queue. This could have been fine if it was communicated the night before but it wasn’t. Bottom line - don’t trust the reception staff to order taxis they were very unhelpful the next day. They said they would order us taxis on the spot but it was too late we had to find other arrangements. On another note, bar staff were extremely friendly 10/10 service and our inclusive breakfast was brilliant! I would recommend this hotel aside from the taxi scenario.

The wife and I stayed at this hotel in a canal view room for several days while visiting Paris in the summer of 2022. The hotel is located in a lively section of Paris, kind of in between the metropolitan area and the beginning of the suburbs it seems. There are lots of nearby shops and places to eat and at night the canal comes alive with groups and couples strolling along the canal or just sitting at the table edge enjoying a picnic dinner. The hotel had a well stocked buffet breakfast which includes hot items, and the facilities and rooms are clean and neat. It is located within walking distance of several metro lines but before you decide to ride those, do your research into keeping yourself safe! Cordial multilingual staff.

Room Tip: Beware of pickpockets on the metro. While we were there they were running rampant!

Staff were accommodating where I was merging business and personal bookings. Room was large with a view onto the canal- loved the setting of the hotel with great atmosphere in the evenings along the canal with boule and bars/ restaurants. Breakfast was good, though sometimes not everything available at all times as example some of the hot items were missing on one day, and late starting on another day when I had an early start. Would recommend the hotel overall.

Excellent stay in an area of Paris I’ve not stayed before. Location is wonderful as you can walk round the various canal basins where there are lots of bars/restaurants. There is a couple of Metro stations within 15 minutes walk although you can enjoy a 45 minute walk to Notre Dame. Staff at the hotel very friendly and welcoming and derive excellent. Rooms as you would expect in a Holiday Inn Express and the breakfast was very good. Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Paris.

Just returned after staying at this hurdle over the weekend. The hotel is on a great location by the side of the canal with plenty of bards and restaurants if you want to venture out. The rooms are cosy and functional and very clean. Breakfast was plentiful with a surprisingly large variety considering its a holiday inn express All in all it was it’s a really good hotel. Customer service, I think you only get a feel of how how good customer service is if there’s a problem, and we had a problem with our booking. As it turned out the problem was the result of central booking not the hotel however Chloe on reception and the manager Albane sorted through the issue, keeping us informed and resolved the issue allowing us to enjoy the weekend. Absolutely stellar customer service at a time when the hotel was fully booked, hopefully the company can recognise Chloe and Albane, I can certainly highly recommend this hotel

Myself, wife and 14 year old daughter stayed at this hotel for 4 nights recently and found it to be really good value for money and the location was ideal and only a short walk to the nearest metro and a few decent restaurants. Check-in was quick and our room was spotlessly clean with comfy beds, which provided a good nights sleep after longs days of sightseeing and walking. The pillows were very soft which I liked but my wife did ask for a more firmer pillow, but the hotel couldn’t provide this. A slight downside along with a lack of drawer space, but for the short time we stayed we coped and the walking did mean my wife soon forgot about having a firm pillow. The staff were courteous and polite and spoke good English to compensate for our not so good French, which was most welcome. Breakfast was typical continental and was tasty and plentiful. Overall we had a really good visit to Paris and the hotel played a big part in this so we would definitely stay here again and happily recommend it to others.

This hotel is budget, but in a great location at the side of the canal. If you walk down the canal it takes you to the heart of the city. Walk the other way for parks a recreation. One road parallel to entrance to the hotel had a large supermarket. Lots of choice for cafes and bars in the area. The canal area was very popular with the locals and boules matches were common. It has good transport links close by. Stayed for 4 nights, room overlooking canal towards city center. The room was not big but the bed was comfortable. On the first floor is a deck area sometimes used by people using the meeting rooms, it was great to sit looking over the canal with a drink and a snack. Breakfast did not have the biggest choice but was adequate. The staff were very helpful and the hotel cleaners worked constantly to keep it clean. We walked from the Gare Du Nord which took about 20 minutes. Recommend a coffee in the top floor resturant at pretemps, (who sponsor the free city map available in reception) but its not cheap. When we were returning home the hotel stored our cases for us, while we had an extra day site seeing.
