Plus: - beautiful heated indoor swimming pool with hamman and sauna: wonderful - large room with nice view - great cocktail - friendly staff - interesting location - confortable bed - nice bathroom - good breakfast - quiet Could have been better: - more drawers would have been nice
Location, 2 min walk from subway, which will bring you fast to the center. Close to the famous pere lachaise. Rooms are spatious. Very good bedcomfort. Noise insulation is vey good. Small desk, too small to work on. Bad room very small sink. Enough space, great shower. Toilet in the bathroom. Airco is ok. Wifi on times bad connections in my room. Breakfast, very classical and a bit disappointing for a 5 star hotel. The small croissants, pains au chocolat were the same as they serve in every ibis… bit better quality here would be appreciated. Small platters with meat and cheese that were emptied quickly, so i had to go a couple of times before replenishment. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Small Welness complex in the hotel with sauna swimming pool & hamman. Found it overcrowded too really enjoy (probably bad timing). Also small children are allowed in the area… which isn t really ok for a spa pool. Depending on the price you have to pay this can be a good choice, but i wouldn t pay high season prices of over 300 euro for a night here.…
Medium-sized hotel, away from the busy tourist area of Central Paris, but perfect for us nonetheless. The staff were very helpful, and our daily rate included the generous breakfast buffet. The adjacent neighborhood has lots of good restaurants, just 5 minutes away, and a Metro station close by, at Faidherbe-Chaligny. After a busy day seeing the sites, returning to Hotel Bastille was very comforting, especially because of the nearby restaurant selection. The hotel is in a pleasant residential area of Paris, so our experience here felt authentic.

Let’s start with my accreditation’s, I have worked in several high end 5 star resorts and have over 20 years experience with hospitality. Check in 100% smooth and welcomed with a lovely smile and very informative and the style of reception and entrance bar is absolutely stunning. The room (302) This room is on the side which has views over the street and a local art school( maybe??). The room you couldn’t ask for anything else. Room has fantastic air con comfy bed. Quality lining. Space to move about. Toilet separate to the luxury bathroom. The shower is out of the world. No expense spared in the room. Hotel amenities The hall ways, stairs and style of the hotel is unbelievable, quality every where you look and all kept to a high standard. Spa Having been involved in running spas I understand standards, on our last day I treated the wife to a spa and she has said one of the best she has ever had. The facilities, you can use without having a spa are fantastic. Pool, sauna, steam room again high class well maintained and an added bonus to a hotel in Paris. The staff are fantastic in the spa. Caring and knowledgeable. Breakfast The breakfast is unbelievable , we don’t ever usually have bed and breakfast but it was included in our deal. It again was great, light french styled breakfast with approx 30 to 40 different items you can have. Buffet style. Staff again very helpful and attentive. Staff in general Having read previous reviews moaning about staff/ managements attitude I can tell you within 15 minutes of being in the hotel 4 different staff ask us if we are ok? Or do we want a hand? When ever we entered a room for breakfast or reception a smile came onto the staffs face and a genuine want to help. All the staff are a credit, room staff did a fantastic job cleaning and presenting the rooms and all other staff just did their jobs to a level I haven’t seen before. Having travelled the world and stopped in some unbelievable hotels, this by far is the best. The quality and the staff stand out. I would give this a solid 9.5 out of 10. 2 very minor negatives One being proper English tea bags at breakfast ( PG OR TETLEY). Second one is location, if this was 20 minutes closer to Centre it would make it perfect. We didn’t mind it as we enjoyed the aspect of walking about, and a taxi to a more central position wouldn’t cost a lot, less than €10.…
Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with the hotel management for not being accommodating with our family emergency situation and early check out - while every airline , every other hotels are waiving their change fees due to Covid emergencies, helping people in difficult times, this hotel is only after money ! The most disturbing part was that the receptionist agreed to waive the fees but asked us to call the third party reservation company without having any knowledge of the process. We won’t be going back to this hotel and I don’t recommend it - just in case something happens to your travel plans - which it very well can like ours - they will not be helpful ! These are the situations which prove how well or bad the hotel manages their customers issues . Just be very aware of it .…
My husband and I recently completed a second stay at this wonderful Five Star property the beginning of December for our anniversary. It is a beautiful boutique property in a fantastic location! The hotel is a fairly short walk to the Bastille and they you can quickly be in the heart of Paris. The staff was complimentary and just amazing. Our room was on the top floor with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the city. While we couldn't see the Eiffel Tower, you could see the lights at night. The bed was super comfortable and I loved the towel warmer. The bathrobes and slippers were a great addition that we used every night after walking ten miles a day. Highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed two nights and found the room was very good. Breakfast was a little over priced if not included but food was good. Staff very helpful. Building is really nicely renovated but location is not as central as others.
A well situated hotel on a quiet street. Well-appointed,modern room with two windows and so lots of light. A good size too for Paris. Wonderful bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Reception staff were exceptional: extremely professional and customer friendly - offering directly to reconfirm a restaurant booking for us. There were some issues where customer service could have been better. We received two complementary macaroons (as we are platinum members) but the person leaving them in the room didn’t think to replace the two used coffee cups. The second day, the coffee and water weren’t replaced and only one bath towel was left instead of two. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly poor, not at all the level of a Sofitel. It was more similar to the standard and range of an Ibis or Novotel. Certainly not with €28. There are similar breakfast offers at cafes down the street for less than €10. All in all a nice stay but some changes in the service and breakfast are needed.…
We stayed at Hotel Bastille Boutet for one night. We were delighted to be there, warmly welcomed by the team who was fully supportive in providing us the best possible experience during our stay. We had to book the swimming pool because of Covid limitation. Finally it was great because we enjoyed a moment alone in the Spa. The location of the hotel is very pleasant with close public transportation, many bars, restaurants and theatres closeby. Thank you !!
