We stayed here for a 3 nights. For what I have payed it was an absolute great place to stay (bought the whole trip through wowcher, so was A LOT cheaper) Room and bathroom was of a decent size. The best feature here is obviously included in the price was sauna, turkish hammam, pool and gym. Used the saunas and pool every morning and evening as the weather wasn’t great, so was good to warm up after a days walking in the city. Breakfast was of a good selection. Unfortunately there weren’t many options for plant based (vegan or vegetarian) food. Every morning I had only pancakes and sweet pastries 😁 No vegan sausages etc. However all was delicious so can’t complain. Also I think it’s France itself who’s not into the plant based food yet, so can’t blame hotel, as we were struggling to find a place to eat to have at least few options of vegan meals. Hotel is in a great location. Metro station is about 5min slow walk, there are restaurants around. Can feel that Parisian lifestyle as very few tourists around. Overall it’s a nice, definitely posh hotel and would stay here again.…
We stayed here for four nights on a vacation. Overall, we really enjoyed our trip, but the hotel was not quite as advertised. For an advertised 5-star hotel, it was not quite up to par. Overall: + The value for the room was good, possibly due to it being a bit further removed from the city + The location was great! It was a short walk from the Feidherbe / Cheligny station which took only ~15 minutes to be in the center of the city. Plus there were lots of good restaurants around the area. + Everyone in the hotel was very friendly. + The room was quiet even though it faced the street, and the bed was a dream. + The bathtub is like a spaceship, so if you take baths, get ready for an A+ experience. - The internet was really slow and inconsistent. If you are trying to work from the room, be careful. When we mentioned it to the front desk, they were of limited help in this area. - The rooms were clean, but we had issues with both our tub and our room sink. When we asked for them to be fixed, it took two days to get fixed. - The overall feel of the hotel was not a 5-star experience in my view; more like a 3.5 or 4-star experience. Everything from the check in, to lack of concierge, to lack of unique touches (e.g. turn down service) makes this feel short of 5 star experience. Overall, this was a completely fine place to stay. However, I think the billing as a 5-star place is probably a bit oversold.…
The front office staff lacks empathy for the customer. They charged us for the breakfast even after telling that it is optional. We had not taken breakfast but had to pay 30 euros for the breakfast. The front office staff had initially denied checkin saying that our booking cannot be found in the system. They made us make a new booking by paying 300 euros for stay and 30 euros for the breakfast. They delayed the checkin even after payment and told us that rooms are not available for next day. At checkout they again offered us rooms. The front office is a total mess. Only one emoployee at the front office was empathetic and allowed us to keep the luggage in the luggage room. If you want to mess us your holidays and experience a stay where every thing is about money, please book this hotel. …
The hotel impresses with the decoration details, all very elegant. Very comfortable room, spotless bathroom, impressive whirlpool and great service. Great location, lots of bars and things to do around the area
Had a chance to stay for 5 nights here. The location is off the typical tourist track but that is one of its charm. Many cafes, bakeries, and restaurants within walking distance. Close to subway lines 1 and 9 for traveling around the city. I’ve received exemplary services here from the front desk to Morgan, who kindly helped arranged for a move to new room after heating issues with original room. Staff are all very professional and speaks fluent English. A really pleasant stay!
