I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It’s is a super location and the rooms are gorgeous. As for the restaurant - excellent food and good value. We’ll be back!
Pauline runs the place and is one of the very best hotel managers I have ever come across. All the other staff are very friendly and good. The rooms are quirky and really well done… loved the breakfasts as well. We will definitely return here soon.
The Providence is a gorgeous, atmospheric hotel. We had a beautiful room and an enormous bathroom. Love the cocktail bar although we loved sitting in the actual bar downstairs having a cocktail. I would recommend that you eat at the restaurant. We had a fabulous first evening there serenaded by a wonderful pianist. The food is so delicious. Wonderful, friendly staff who had lots of recommendations. It was the perfect Paris weekend. We will definitely stay here again.
Oh my goodness. What a lovely hotel. The staff are fab - really friendly and helpful - and were the making of a really enjoyable stay. We were there for three nights. Our room had a balcony, a king size bed and a cocktail bar. What’s there not to like about that!! The toilet/shower was en-suite - it was spacious enough and clean. Despite the chill we spent time on the balcony and were happy to hang-out in our room. The restaurant is great. At dinner there is a tight menu with some superb deserts as well as good starters and mains. Oh, and there’s a well-formed wine list too. Breakfast is also served there, though in winter we’d recommend you try to bag a spot by the fire and in summer the terrace outside will be great. We took dinner at the hotel on one night but came back the next two evenings for desert and a coupe de champagne. The staff, of course, were very welcoming. Such a great way to round off a day in Paris.…
This is my favorite hotel in Paris, been there twice and certainly will book it also next time. The rooms are very stylish&beautiful. The stuff is helpful (speaking English). The hotel is located on a small street next to Grand Boulevards and Place de la Republique, so the metro stations are very close. I strongly recommend the this hotel for people who value beautiful surrounding.
Very average boutique property, and as usually is the case in Paris highly overpriced. Our room was of decent size, but with bad sound insulation and extremely loud noise outside until 1:30 am on a Monday night due to the hotel hosting a private party with a loud, drunk crowd. Bed quality was decent - one of the few positive takeaways from our visit. The picture frames in the room were hung uneven, and quality of the furniture was also lacking. Also, the bathroom had water overflowing from the shower area. No real reception area - one big bar and the adjoining area mostly filled with locals hanging around drinking wine and smoking. Avoid.
We very much enjoyed our stay. This is a quaint hotel with an excellent staff. We travel all over the world (well except for the past 1.5 years) and usually we stay in 5 Star business hotels. My wife hates that but it is usually easier for me for my work. But our experience at the Hotel Providence has proven the benefits of a more friendly and personalized service at boutique hotels. And with the very fast wifi I was able to work just as easily as if I were at the Westin Vendome or Marriott. We will definitely return again.
This is a lovely little hotel with only 18 rooms. You check in at the small reception just behind the bar. The service was fabulous and the location was great with a nice vibe to the neighborhood. We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms (there are two) and the bathroom was extraordinary with a big bathtub. We’d definitely stay there next time we go to Paris!
Such a nice experience that we extended our stay by 4 nights! Beds very comfortable. Sheets very nice. Pillows wonderful and yes, I’m that pillow snob ☺️ we travel a lot and found the staff to be so kind and gracious even with our limited use of French. Thank you Paulina! You are truly! Magnifique!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Providence. From our room being ready early to Pauline helping us get around the city and making fantastic dinner reservations to the central location of the hotel, this is the absolute best hotel to stay in Paris. I also want to reiterate how amazing we found Pauline as she always went above and beyond to help us in any way that we needed, and she truly made the experience even more memorable than it already was. We will absolutely be back and so looking forward to future stays here!
