This was the last hotel we stayed at for our honeymoon and we couldn't have picked a better place. Amelie was our main point of contact and made us feel right at home from the beginning. She was super responsive throughout our stay re anything we needed from breakfast orders, to laundry service, to booking a cab for our trip home. We booked the exclusive suite. The room itself was HUGE. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need including fridge, microwave, utensils, and stove. The all glass window that opens into a balcony gave us breathtaking views of the city and the river. The metro was about a 5-7 min walk and there is a scooter/bike station 1 minute away. It's definitely not cheap but you get what you pay for. Quality hotel with quality service. If we ever return to Paris, Goralska is at the top of our list for places to stay.…
We were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in our room. Yes we planned for a nice vacation and budgeted for it and the Goralska did not disappoint. We absolutely loved having a full kitchen and the view of the canal was amazing. Go for the quartz! You’ll love it!!
We stayed 3 nights in the Amethyst Roya lSuite, and this has been one of my favorite places to stay in Paris among all my years of vacationing here. The suite is such a delight to the senses, lights, temperature and music are all easily controlled via a touch pad, and the front desk and room service are beyond what I would even expect of a 5 star hotel. The site photos are amazing and accurate. I can’t wait to come back again, and again.
We stayed for 4 nights and our experience was excellent. Apartments are nicely appointed and very spacious for Paris, view of the canal is calming and staff are ever so helpful. Special shoutout to Amelie who went out of her way in guiding us with expert local knowledge every time we met, and even came up with useful maps of her own for to aid our visit to Disneyland! We would highly recommend this place for anyone not very familiar with Paris as the location is so central with the Gare de Lyon main station + 2 metro stations within walking distance. Although there is no in-house restaurant here, there is an Italian joint and a boulangerie at a stone’s throw, and there are always plenty of food options on Uber Eats (which is what we used extensively). Overall a memorable stay.
First contact w hotel was excellent - we had several covid cancellations over 2 years and every time they were quick, friendly and helpful in their replies (go Amelie!). That same attitude carried through to our stay at the hotel with lots of smiles and can-do attitude. It's a small boutique hotel so there are/will be times when there's nobody at reception for a short amount of time. The room we stayed in was large (like twice normal city hotel rooms) with big windows and lots of light overlooking the canal. There was a sitting area, small kitchen, large bathroom and bedroom. Decoration was on point in a contemporary artsy style. Nothing felt worn or tired. We found it to be quiet (and we're very picky). For the size of room and quality (did I mention how friendly they are?!) the value you're getting is arguably top value in Paris. The "downside" is that the hotel is just outside of the very center of town. This didn't bother us at all as there's plenty to walk around to from this location and wherever you are in Paris, you'll basically always be a short walk or subway ride from some of your destinations. There are several subway stops within a few minutes walking from the hotel and buying tickets and figuring out where to go was very easy. There's a small sitting area downstairs where they serve wine/drinks in the afternoon and breakfast in the mornings. We didn't try breakfast and just grabbed some croissants at a bakery around the corner in the mornings. Would we stay again? Yes - without a doubt. This is an excellent hotel and we loved everything about it.…
I have been travelling to Paris virtually every year for the past 40. For most of that time I've stayed in a very modest place near the Bastille because it was quiet. Recently I have occasionally stayed in a more upmarket hotel in Place de la Republique, sometimes quiet, sometimes not. From now on, however, it will be Goralska Residences every time. It was a stroke of luck that the two previous places mentioned were full for my recent holiday. Thank goodness! It forced me to look elsewhere and I struck gold. What first attracted me about Goralska Residences was that all the rooms (there are only 12) look directly on to the beginning of the Canal St Martin so your view is a delightful one of water and little boats. Thereafter, I was impressed by the rave reviews and liked what I saw of the various rooms on offer - all mini-apartments with living room, sleeping area, bathroom and a 'kitchen'. I chose a Royal Suite and was on the top floor (sixth) and loved every minute. It had enormous windows, to gaze down on to that lovely view, and a separate bedroom. The decoration in the rooms can best be described as colourful and quirky but the main thing is that they’re comfortable. Triple glazing ensures that any traffic noise outside is reduced to a mere murmur. There are art books to read and an iPad to plan your time in Paris. There is ample cupboard and shelf space and I’m happy to report plenty of coat hangers. Internal noise disturbance is minimal to zero, and with so few rooms it would be surprising if it was anything else. The bathroom is decorated with dazzling blue tiles: stunning. I organised my own breakfast each morning, after a visit to a local supermarket, and made good use of the fridge. I was also able to rustle up an evening meal on three days by using the microwave. There is a good supply of cups, plates, cutlery etc. And it was the first hotel room I’ve stayed in where the coffee machine grinds the beans for you. One negative, which was easily dealt with, is that the large double bed had a hard ridge in the middle. If I turned over in the night I would then have to physically move to the comfortable area on the other side. I would hope the hotel can rectify this before my next visit! The service from the staff that I met (Amélie, Janice and Lionel) was friendly, helpful and personal which is one of the advantages of staying in such a small place. The hotel is a few minutes’ walk from Place de la Bastille, a transport hub, but also within walking distance of the river, Le Marais and so much more. I stayed for eight nights and look forward to returning.…
We only had one night here but really enjoyed the stay and use it again. We arrived very early from airport and knew the room wouldn’t be ready but the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Took bags , showed us where to freshen up and gave advice on where to walk The room was lovely, interesting decor , spacious with seperate bedroom and kitchen facilities and a view over water You order breakfast the night before and they bring it to the room. Juice , coffee , muesli, yogurt and delicious pastries with cheese and ham. More than enough and tasty The hotel is an easy walk to main river and Marais area which we love . Good value
We stayed at Goralska for 4 nights to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and we could not have been happier. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with large windows and views over the canal. The decor is very light, natural and cozy. It has a kitchenette and a dining area and we loved to take it easy in the morning and eat breakfast in the room. The reception is small and it does not have a restaurant so the breakfast is always served in the room. The staff is excellent. Very friendly and good service.
Brilliant stay at Goralska residences - we loved everything about it. It is an absolute jewel of a place, we felt completely at home in the beautifully designed suite with marvelous view of a canal - a rarity in Paris! All the furnishings are tasteful, with high-end lamps and details, the kitchen well equipped with attention to detail (quality knives, scissors, plenty of utensils..). The bathroom is spacious and beautiful. The space feels light and airy, with plenty of windows, all with lovely curtains or window dressing... The staff is incredibly polite and friendly, with useful tips... In other words - this is a true find in Paris!
The hotel is located slightly off the touristy part of Paris and therefore less crowd and less noise. It is still very much accessible to major attractions and within walking distance to the busy part of town. We booked a suite on the top floor. The room decor is very attractive with bright natural light coming into the suite through big windows. It comes with a kitchenette and cooking utensils and all the usual hotel amenities. A small drawback is that plates and dishes take up most of the cabinet space and hence there are no drawers to put clothing, and the closet is small. Not an issue for us though. Special shoutout to the front desk staff; their service and recommendations were exceptional. Everyone was friendly and supremely helpful.
