My family of four recently spent a weekend in Paris and we stayed at the Juliana Hotel in a family room booking (two adjoining superior rooms). The hotel has a contemporary feel and, unlike older European hotels, the rooms are relatively large with large bathrooms with large showers. The staff was very helpful and made us feel at home. The concierge was excellent and had great recommendations for activities, and he made us a dinner reservation on short notice at a wonderful cafe/restaurant (Le Petit Cler) nearby. The sink and faucet in the bathroom are a bit odd, which other reviewers have noted as well. But if you are aware of it, you will know to slowly turn on the water to avoid it splashing on you. The location is perfect: within walking distance to central Paris but away from the touristy crowded locations. The rooftop lounge area is fantastic as well. I would definitely stay at the Juliana again on a return visit to Paris.

We loved our stay at Hotel Juliana. The front desk gave me metro directions, called taxis, made restaurant reservations, hand-delivered our laundry, and otherwise was available at all times to help. Breakfast was delicious and had good variety, and this is the best bed and bedding I've had the pleasure of sleeping on. 10-minute walk from the metro, and about 8 minutes to a Velib bike-share station where you can get on and ride to most major Paris attractions, such as Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Ile de la Cite, etc. I highly recommend this property. Oh, and they have the best air conditioning in Paris!

My wife and I have stayed here 3 times over the past 3 years because we love the location in the 7th arrondissement. But location is not everything, sure it is awesome to us, but we so much love the experience that we have had every time at this great boutique hotel, from the decorations and the cleanliness of the rooms to the friendly staff that we have met over the years that always make you feel welcomed. When we have any questions about where to eat or where to visit we have had some great recommendations and Taner and Terry were always so helpful. Our most recent visit did not disappoint...it was a quick trip with a late check-in and the same consistent amenities and friendly staff there, willing to help as always! We usually go out for breakfast so we don't do breakfast but we walked through for coffee and it looked very good. On our final evening, we had an early dinner and came back for a glass of wine to sit on the rooftop and look out with a view of the Eifel Tower and reminisce about our stay. With an early departure, Terry was so helpful with not only the wine (and such friendly conversation) and with getting us a Taxi and check out the next morning making it so easy and efficient. We always tell our friends back home that if they get to Paris, we have a great place where they should stay!

Very nice boutique hotel located close to the Eiffel Tower, shopping, water, restaurants, etc. Staff was very accommodating and nice. Helped us with booking restaurants and anything else we needed. Boutique hotel is very quiet despite being centrally located. Rooms were very clear, fresh, and felt new.

Arrived in Paris at around 6 AM on Thursday, and got to the hotel at about 8 AM. Understandably we were told that check in is at 3 PM, and the very nice gentleman helped to sort everything out, from paying the deposit to scanning our passports, and taking in our luggage while we stroll around until our room becomes available. When the process had been done we were the first people to arrive at the hotel. After a few hours of walking around the area, we got back at the hotel at around 1:30 PM, and we decided just to check if our room was ready, but were told by the lady at the reception to take a seat, and that we would be informed as soon as our room was available. At this given time the gentleman who checked us in was not on site anymore. During the time we waited at the reception many other visitors came, checked in, and were told to wait as well. As the time went on every single guest was taken to their room, and by 3:30 we were the only customers left in the reception. When asked the people at the reception seemed as though they had completely forgotten about us, and we were told that they were looking for a room for us. At some point during this encounter they took us into the elevator to lead us to our room, just to be taken back out by another receptionist, because they wanted to give the room to others who had checked in after us. They were going to redo everything we had done previously in the morning when we got there. By the time we got to our room it was well passed 4 PM. Given the fact that we had planned to be in Paris for just a couple of days, we ended up wasting almost a whole day trying to get our room, thanks to the staff's mismanagement, and their lack of professional conduct. Not only did we get the wrong type of room, as we had asked for two single beds instead of a double, but also the toiletries were incomplete and had thing missing (ie. the Shampoo, Conditioner, etc.). This became apparent when the room service had refreshed with all the missing items the next morning. To top it all off, the treatment and the behavior of the staff after our multiple complaints, made our experience at this supposedly five star hotel into a horrible memory that we were not planning to invest in while on holiday.
