Generator hotel in Paris is a good place to stay. But sometimes the people who works in the place is more important than the place itself. I would like to point out that Taruk is a really good man. I had a problem of healthy during two nights and he provided the best solution. Thank you very much.
I stayed 2 nights. A bunch of thugs got drunk and wanted to fight people and were yelling. Apparently the same group of thugs do this very often and it is tolerated by the hostel security. The security instead of protecting the clients complain at how otften allways the same group do this. As if it wasn t their risponsability to get ride of such people. They even went looking for people to fight in there rooms. Avoid this hostel until they do their job and get ride of these cowardly thugs. By the way the dormitories are very nice but not enough to make drunken thugs acceptable.
Well located hostel/hotel with walkable access to the Gares de l'Est and du Nord. On the edge of Paris' canal network and not far from La Villette. Has Picard and La Vie Clare either side of the entrance door, with Franprix opposite and Lidl close by as well as Leader Price, so well located for provisions. Also close to Arabic & African speaking communities in Paris and their shops. Fabulous views over Montmartre from the roof terrace open from 8am to 9pm during lockdown, Very friendly atmosphere in the hostel and people in general were overwhelmingly welcoming. It is a long time since I made friends in a hostel. There is a lot to explore locally in the 19th arr. following the metro line west and the backstreets behind as well as the Parque Buttes Chaumont ahead. I also found some great African samosas at the market in Place des Fetes. There is also some rough and tumble in the area which shows Paris has a beating heart. An interesting area which is not pretentious.…
Super happy even though on the firstday me and my daugther cnt sleep becaise of the noise of our neighbor they got a party on there room till 4 am in the morning but we ask the staff of the hotel if we can chage it they did it. They put us on the other room so we can enjoy our stay and thanks a lot i put 5Stars on the all staff on generator hotel they're all nice we are comming back.. And super recommend this hotel.
It is a nice hostel, nicely designed, very modern and cosy. It is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the main train station of Paris. Has a nice rooftop bar and prices don’t seem to be on higher side too. However, the rooms were slightly disappointing. The beds are made of thin metal, which is crackling quite loudly with every movement you make. Also, there is no curtains in beds, so you always have a vis-a-vis. Not sure about other rooms, but mine had toilet and shower inside the room and the toilet door is next to someone’s bed (and that someone is unlucky if you make a little stinky surprise). Also, washing sink with a mirror is just in a common room area, so if you use it late, you will be disturbing everyone with the light and noise.
