Ground floor room, next you’re street, no way to sleep without noise. The room was really simple and poro, the room door was behind a wall, it seems it was an additional room Not good location 450 euros paid Breakfast in a Very small room on the basement floor.
We arrived to 9Hotel Opera on 17th of June to have a 4 night stay at their Club Double room which was advertised to be 20m2 with a shower and a bath tub. The room we have been given is much smaller, the bathroom does not have a bath tub, there is black mould present in the shower and tap, the wifi dosn't work in the rooms and the room shakes with every train departure. I went to the reception to express my concern snd I was told that the rooms come in different sizes and even though I had paid a surplus for a larger room did not guaranty that i'd receive one. I am disappointed with the hospitality and service this hotel has given us and would have at least expected a room change given the issues raised.
My husband and I stayed one night at the 9hotel opera in Paris on 11 June 2022. We were incredibly disappointed with our stay due to the following: 1. We asked for an adapter at the front desk. None was available 2. We requested a roll of toilet paper - it was never delivered. We had to use tissues 3. We requested a fan for the room as it was very hot. None was available. 4. the breakfast items were not re-supplied so much of the meat, eggs, juice were not available after they were “gone” with almost 45 minutes still remaining for breakfast service and what was available was not well prepared. 5. Insufficient towels 6. Basic beverages priced at 5 euros each - double what they should have been 7. We requested a late checkout on line and never received a response. I have stayed at this hotel before it was a 9hotel and never had such an experience. We are very disappointed …
If you're a normal size person, the bathroom won't work for you. The toilet is in such a small space that a normal person can't do what they need to do on it. The shower drained very slow also, so that I had to turn off the water while using it so it wouldn't flood the floor.
Decent hotel unless it's warm /you want to be cool in room. Air con a joke as previous poster has said, so window open all night.... With noisy 24 hour mini mart below! So bad night's sleep all round.
Repeat visit and it just gets better each time. Friendly welcoming staff. Good sized rooms compared to others in Paris. Walking distance to Gare du Nord and easy access to a number of metro lines. Good local restaurants including Richer, Bien Bien and Michelak.
Charming hotel, inexpensive and in a walking city where you walk everywhere it was a dream. Two rest to try one is NEXT door to hotel French food..(Hugo) so good. Another name rue richer (beef cheeks) after a king day of shopping and. Eating the single room was perfect for a solo time in Paris . Very clean. Timely check in. Pleasant staff. Clean sheets and lovely breakfast.Definitely a value.
Very good location - subway just around the corner. Friendly staff. Fine value for money. Rooms were clean and tidy but interior could've been better - not enough storage for clothes and/or suitcases.
Everything about the hotel was great except for the noise due to location. Clean rooms, with safe and hair dryer. Good breakfast choices (although more choice some days than others) good location, just a few minutes walk to 2 different metro lines
Three nights in this small hotel in Paris center. Easily reachable by train from the airport. The metro is very close making all areas of the city accessible. Most center attractions within a short walking distance. The service from reception to HK staff was most kind and polite. The level of hygiene was also impeccable. Can highly recommend this place.
