We stayed B&B for 3 nights. We had the room by reception. We'd asked for a quiet room with twin beds, but they never picked it up in our request so we had to choose. We went with the wider beds. As a result, the room was noisy. Otherwise, 5 stars. Like all cheap places in France, the room was small. The bathroom was usable, but tiny. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was an all you could eat buffet down stairs in a nice setting in the cellar. I couldn't of asked for more, it was delicious if a bit packed. Set you up for the day. The hotel is located about 7 minutes walk from a key metro station. I would recommend it to people on a budget and would stay in the area again.
Good value. Ok hotel standard. A bit far from city center but a nice and calm area Decent breakfast but a bit overpriced. Would stay there again. Hard to find something better in the same price range.
Small room but bed is large and you can open the window to let a breeze in. Whenever we went out we had to leave our key with the front desk. Elevator was down so we had to use the stairs. Thankfully our room was on the 2nd floor but the swirl of the stairs made it a bit difficult to carry everything down.
Great welcome and helpful staff. Good location, Room small but it had a large bed which was comfortable and did have everything we needed in the room despite the size. It was close to a metro station which was convenient. Breakfast was really nice.
If you’re looking for somewhere cheap to stay but nicely located look no further. No frills, nothing exceptional, but clean & functional. With a few very small improvements the hotel might have got a better rating - remove dead Ivy hanging baskets outside hotel, offer water in the rooms or at least a glass for bedside drinks, improve lighting in hallway/stairwells, tightening up plumbing in some rooms. Positives are that it is situated in a quiet street with good restaurants nearby & lovely local shops & cafes. Overall if on a budget a good choice. If you want a bar, seating areas, romantic ambiance this is not the hotel for you. The walls are very thin & one night the guy in the next room was being unwell which got me was a very unpleasant experience (my lucky husband slept through this). …
Can’t say enough about the staff here, especially the young lady at the front desk in the morning, Eric (Derek?) who is the day manager, and the hostess in the small restaurant. They were all very friendly and professional. Eric was especially helpful in resolving an issue we had with TravelZoo. While the rooms may be somewhat small, the area is very quiet and peaceful, creating a tranquil place to sleep. The subway is a 10 minute walk and you can be at most destinations within 15-20 minutes. (And the subways are VERY well maintained!) Highly recommended.
The hotel was in a great location. The metro is close by. If visiting Versailles you can get on the train at Pont Cardinet. There were loads of restaurants close by. Breakfast was amazing. Loads of choice. Fresh bread everyday. Also a supermarket 1 min from the front door. The corridors and bedrooms look like they could be updated. Main bedroom light switch was outside bedroom. Stayed in room 44 and bathroom was modern and shower was great. Standard hotel shampoo and body wash supplied. Lift seemed very dated and it broke down whilst we were there but fixed really quickly. Not all of staircase was lit so walking up and down stairs was a bit worrying. Got locked out one evening so they may lock the front door quite early so remember your key (we had left it with reception). Would stay here again.…
Good position and very friendly staff Typical French hotel lots going on around it and very closed to tube and trains to get anywhere easily. Some nice parks near buy for walking or relaxing and plenty of bars and restaurants within easy reach.
Thank you for your nice service. The hotel is a great place, code to city centre with nice restaurants and bars close by. Rooms are clean, good cost - quality ratio. We had breakfast at some small backeries close by, very Parisian.
Great location in easy walking distance of main arc de triomphe, sacre coure and Moulin rouge. Excellent bars and restaurants on door step. Would certainly go back. Bus service local and really good. This survey requests too much detail.
