I stayed in this hotel for four nights - it is a very small hotel with few basic small-sized rooms and a tiny one person elevator, but these points did not take anything away from its absolute Paris charm. We had a wonderful, comfortable stay at this hotel. As soon as we entered this hotel, it felt cozy... the staff...

This small hotel was just outside the tourist crush but with easy access to the Metro (Raspail) and Orly Bus (Denfert). It is a short walk to the Cimitiere Montparnasse and lots of restaurants in the neighborhood. (the aligot at Le Plomb du Cantal is wonderful). It was an easy walk to the Jardin Luxembourg and the Latin Quarter. The...

This sweet hotel was our very first stop in France. We were greeted immediately by the lady I believe is the owner, who gave us lots of tourist info. Room was small, but very adequate, with French windows opening onto Blvd. Raspail. Continental breakfast was served each morning, with excellent coffee. Made friends with Ben (owner's nephew, and Maher, who...

I'm always wary of giving very good reviews to reasonably priced hotels, in case I make them put their prices up!...It is conveniently located in quieter area near Montparnasse. It was clean, comfortable, staff spoke very good English and were very polite and friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

Five of us stayed for 3 nights in the hotel and it was perfect for us. The hotel is very comfortable and has a cosy feel to it. Three of us stayed in the junior suite and it was beautifully decorated with enough space and two bathrooms which was good. The rooms are very modern and clean. The other standard...

My fiance and I recently traveled to Paris and booked this hotel through Budget Travel and we were very pleased with our experience. The rooms, though a bit on the small end, are clean and modern. The hotel was quiet and the reception desk was very helpful (they even scoured google to help us find an open patisserie at 7:30pm!)...

We found this hotel through Budget travel when they did a special on Paris hotels. Very affordable at about $87 Euro a night when we booked it months ahead of time. Nice, albeit small lobby if you just need to sit down for a minute. Very friendly and helpful staff that were there 24-7. We know no French, and asked...

The staff make this place shine! all three staff members we talked to could not have been nicer or more helpful! When I'm back in Paris I would stay here again. Rooms are cute and tidy. Loved the design of the little lobby- very homey. Rooms and elevator are small but that didn't bother us. We were on a budget...

We stayed one night in this hotel. It was just perfect. The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the metro and 10 from the RER train station which brings you directly to the Airport. The location is just perfect, quite central. The room wasn´t very big, but decent in size, very clean and furnished with good taste. The bathroom...

The hotel is in a great location, and the rooms are unique, clean and comfortable, despite the relatively small size. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay there again.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
