Hotel Lumen is an excellent small 4* hotel in a very convenient location. Walking distance to Jardins des Tuilleries, Louvre, Opera house, Galleries Lafayette and Metro station. We visited 22-26 December 2015 so the huge Christmas Market was there - we walked there from the hotel too! The Christmas Market is so varied with many different nationals selling/serving their wares.... More

This is a perfect place to stay if you want to experience the Old World Paris...small room and beds, because that's the way it was. Superior Room 5th floor gave access to small outside balcony. The history of these old Pre-war buildings is amazing...and turned into hotels and offices...The bathroom was very nice and workable for our stay. The Staff... More

Cosy room with really comfy bed and great facilities. Street side rooms can be a bit noisy. Breakfast buffet is good, sets you up for a full day out and about in Paris. Great location, walking distance to Louvre.

This is a delightful hotel in a very convenient position close to the Louvre and the Opera Garnier. The main shopping area including Galleries Lafayette and Printemps are only a 15 min walk away.We had a problem with our dinner booking but otherwise the staff were charming and helpful.

Hotel Lumen has a perfect position between l'Operà and the Louvre, a perfect base for both business and turism. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the public spaces decor is beautiful, even if everything is small. The same applies to the room, pretty small (in line with Paris standards anyway) but very nice in every aspect and with lots... More

We stayed here in September 2015 for 3 nights. We had a corner room on the 4th floor. It had two French balconies...lovely! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom shower is a challenge. I have found a few of these in Europe where there is no shower curtain and the glass partition is so narrow, the water... More

Stayed with my wife for five nights in this beautiful, very well situated hotel. Great and welcoming staff plus a perfect room (family suite overlooking the Saint-Roch church) made our stay very memorable. A great location if you like to be in the very centre of Paris. Walking distance to the Louvre, Palais Royal, the Garnier Opera, the Marais quarters... More
