When I reached Paris and went to the hotel, first it was closed. I called the company which I made the reservation form and while they are trying to figure out what's going on there was a sign on the door with a contact number in case the hotel was closed. I made a call for it and explained that I had a reservation for that day, the Mr on the other side bluntly says there was no reservation for that day and hangs up on me while I try to explain over and over that I made a reservation. My third party company (which I made the reservation) calls me after a while and tells me to wait because someone will open the door for me. The given excuse was they made a big mess and the ownership of the hotel changed recently. Wireless didn't work. You have a timer for the hot water because of the heater capacity. No reception whatsoever and if you wanted to talk with someone you had a number from an Old Couple which came by to open the door for you to enter the hotel... Looked like a students residence overall. Photos are very deceiving in this one. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. And I sincerely hope this works as an eye opener for what I consider one of the worst hotels in my life.

A prepaid disaster ! For fairness, these features are acceptable: Wi-Fi, shower, and inclusive breakfast. For the rest ? Oh dear me ! Booked for a single room. Upon arrival at the bar below, as they are owned by the same person, he demanded I immediately paid the city tax, in advance ! This is the first time this has happened to me in over 50 stays in France in the past 20 years ! It was a sign of what I could expect - virtually nothing ! Given the entry codes for the outside door - as there is NO reception area - and for the 2nd floor room, I struggled up the stairs - no lift - on a very hot, sticky night . . . Room was a shock ! Part of the roof-space, it was an attic room with the ceiling sloping at 30 degrees from the horizontal, and dropping to a height of just 89 cms from the laminated floor, at the external wall ! Worse, a hard edge transverse beam went across the whole bedroom, and above the washbasin and toilet, at a height of just 168 cms from the floor . . ! So, if you are taller than 168 cms, expect to crack your head when using the bathroom, or when standing just halfway into the bedroom from its entrance door ! The next horror was discovering where I could unpack my clothes ? Answer : on a line of 4 coathooks, suspended fom the top of the entrance door ! That was it ! No wardrobe and no shelves ! And to hang anything on said coathooks covers the " In case of fire" emergency notice ! The place was horrifically hot, only one bedroom light and one bathroom light worked ( room 204), and the fan wouldn't work as it needed water in it (!) and there was no utensil in the bathroom with which to pour any water ! The only ventilation came from two ( velux-type) flush fitting roof windows, although in the poor lighting - it was after 10.30pm when I arrived in the room - I was unable to see how to open the bedroom one until morning ! A proper hotel would provide a welcome booklet, or even just a laminated sheet, giving useful information and contact numbers. But Hotel Le Daly's is NOT one of those, so there is no such information provided in the room ! Completely fed up, I called the booking agency, who tried that night, and again the following day, to get a refund from the owner so that I could be re-booked elsewhere. But no, the owner refused that, but promised to buy a hanging-rail for me, and to move me to the only one of five attic rooms to have a (vertical) dormer window ! (He also claimed he couldn't offer me a 1st floor room - called "superior" by him as they actually have standing headroom by all 4 walls - as they were fully booked during the 11 day period of my stay.) On day 3 of my stay, he provided me with a portable hanging-rail, with 5 coat hangers, and on day 4, upon my insistence, he allowed me to move into the ONE attic room with the dormer window ( room 201). Other gripes : although the rooms were serviced most days, mine wasn't for the 72 hours from the Friday until the following Monday. Furthermore, the laminated bedroom floors were neither swept nor mopped during the whole 11 days of my stay, as I could see the same clumps of hairs and other unpleasant items remaining undisturbed beneath the easily accessible occasional table, for the duration . . ! Finally, at no time was any reported broken lighting attended to . . ! It wasn't a holiday at all. It was simply an exercise in survival. You are therefore advised to avoid booking a "standard" room at Hotel Le Daly's, unless you are desperate for a one night flop !

My boyfriend and I stayed here a few weeks ago, I've finally found the words to describe our time here. Firstly I must comment that the room was clean and the lady that checked us in was really friendly. The hotel was very close to two metro stations which made sightseeing easy, this is why I have awarded 2 stars. The room was very small and we only had one set of towels. There was also only one plug which was difficult to manage between the two of us as we had 2 phones and a camera to charge, I also needed to use a hair dryer. The worst part of our stay was discovering that some of my jewellery and make up had been stolen from our room when we were out one day. One of the items was of huge sentimental value as it was a gift from a member of my family that had passed away only 10 days prior to our stay, this happened to be a diamond ring. I realise that I probably should have left it at home but it was something I wore most days and just didn't think. The ring and other items were tucked away in different sections of my make up bag so this must have been routed through to get them. When we spoke to the hotel manager he was so unhelpful, not once did he ask if I was ok (I was visibly distressed), he didn't seem concerned at all. He made a remark about declaring what I had at the time of check in so I would advise anyone travelling here to do that. Bearing in mind that even some of my make up was taken!!

A clean and friendly place located close to central Metro lines. The manager even paid my coffee upon departure (the restaurant only accepts credit card payments from 10 Euros and above). Best value for money I found in Paris so far. Will come again.

Great value for Money! The Hotel is easily reachable with the Metro. The Rooms are solid and clean, with average interior. The Staff was extraordinarily friendly. We only stayed for one night, but we want to make this our homebase for longer visits in the future. Clear Recommendation.
