Stayed here for 2 nights in June 2016. This is extaxtly what it says it is.... Its really basic budget accommodation. I booked a triple room in this hotel for me and 2 friends. We had a room on 4th floor. THERE IS NO LIFT. So there is plenty of stairs to climb but this absolutely wasnt an issue for...

The Hotel is close to 2 lines of metro, okey area. Not that far from center. Really nice and helpful staff! Small rooms, the covers were dirty but the bed sheets clean. Shared one bathroom on one floor :/ . But for the price I believe the best (as student). Internet works sometimes in price, so cant really complain. Wifi...

The room was comfortable, the bed well fitted and comfortable. The view from the window, although not stunning was lovely in my opinion. I could look out and watch real Parisian life go by. It can be nosiey, especially in the morning. It is very close to some great places to eat. The bakery across the street does some of...

I really didn't expect much from a one-star hotel (I believe that it's underrated, to be honest), but I was extremely pleasantly surprised. While the absence of an elevator is an inconvenience, it's certainly not an issue for anyone who is capable of carrying their own luggage. I was delighted to find when I arrived that I'd been upgraded to...

The area was convenient for us, as it had good metro and RER connections (Place d'Italie and Tolbiac metro stations within walking distance) and lots of places to eat. We upgraded to a private bathroom upon arrival, and the room was clean and neat if simple. However, we had a major problem with the bathroom facilities; tiled wet room and...

Despite the dispute when check-in, still love my stay at this hotel. my e-mail reservation stated on 50 euro/night for a specified room and specied date. but when check-in, the reservation guy said the room was 69 euro, and couldn't trace who was giving the 50 euro rate. he managed to escalate to his manager and offered on 50 euro...

Like it says 'A Budget family run Hotel in the Heart of Paris' Clean and tidy, a good cheap price for Paris, nice people, highly recommended. Chinatown right on the doorstep, what a result. Would stay there again if a budget trip was in the offering. Nice bar right next door to the Hotel.

It placed in china town. Lots of china restaurants, testy and chip. A couple of shops near Olimpiades underground station, but not easy to find at first time. The most problem is noise. Use earplugs. I forgot mine. And that was a mistake.

Staying in Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique

Neighborhood Profile
Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique
Far off the beaten path, this part of Paris is a forgotten gem worth exploring. Avenue d’Ivry houses Europe's largest Chinatown with great Asian supermarkets and shops, and a thrilling atmosphere around Chinese New Year. Place d’Italie impresses onlookers as soon as they set their eyes on it. Not far, around La Butte aux Cailles, the streets suddenly imitate provincial France and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported. The beauty of these streets lies in their surprises around every twist and turn.
