Old style hotel, basic but functional and clean, price reflected this, decent value for great location with lots of cafes and restaurants in the street and surrounding streets. It's near train station and montepass tower.
We stayed here for one night at the end of our five week holiday, flying out of CDG the following day. The rooms were old fashioned but clean and fine for an overnight stay in a very nice part of Paris. They offer a breakfast...More
Had a single room with a single bed, extremely small. The bed did not look very comfortable but I was so tired I would have slept on anything. The room had a very strong 'old house' smell, the shower was in a cupboard where you...More

The hotel is very cosy and very small, 2 stars but deserves a 3. No elevators so far so not so convenient if you climb up the stairs. It is is conveniently placed in a street where you have lots of cinemas and dining places.

The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small
gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
