Had a single room with a single bed, extremely small. The bed did not look very comfortable but I was so tired I would have slept on anything. The room had a very strong 'old house' smell, the shower was in a cupboard where you...More
ok it's cheap, but the bed 'qualité supérieure' in room 525 is older than me (45), a mix of lumpy, soft and uneven and was impossible to sleep on. A camping mat is vastly superior. The shower hose would only stay pointing at 1 wall...More
The hotel is very cosy and very small, 2 stars but deserves a 3. No elevators so far so not so convenient if you climb up the stairs. It is is conveniently placed in a street where you have lots of cinemas and dining places.

Awesome restaurants located a matter of steps outside the front door in an area of Paris not plagued by expensive tourist pricing. Rooms clean and tidy, bathroom fine. Travel bud had stayed there many times before and I'd definitely stay again.

The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small
gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
