We really enjoyed staying here. The hotel was in excellent condition, and well-situated near 3 Metro stops offering convenient access to the rest of the city. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very good, too. And all this was for a very good price. We would stay again.

Location couldn't be better and every time we set out for sightseeing , within minutes we found ourselves en route through the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens . Lobby is cozy charming and welcoming and our room was well appointed and comfortable. The best thing about this hotel however is the attentive service especially Denis who patiently and enthusiastically helped us plan... More

The Name of the Hotel is an apt and true description of the Hotel we enjoyed for four nights. From the time we arrived and until our departure, Denis, the Receptionist, and his other colleagues who were there during evenings, were the most hospitable and helpful. Situated in an ideal location adjacent to Blvds. Montparnasse and Raspail made it easier... More

This charming boutique hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter makes for the perfect home base for a visit to Paris. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive. The rooms are well-appointed and provide a relaxing retreat from a long day of sight seeing. We have already booked our return stay and are eagerly looking forward to it!

Third stay at this small, friendly and clean hotel with welcoming staff. Love the location - near enough to walk to tourist attractions but far enough out of the real centre to find good value for both accommodation and eating.

My friend and I very much enjoyed staying at this hotel. We loved the decor, comfy bed, location and the selection of restaurants around the hotel but more than that the staff were amazing. They offered to help with transportation from/to the airport, stored our luggage when we arrived before our room was ready, gave us a map and told... More

We stayed in the Hotel des Academies et des Arts for 3 nights in July to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was very conveniently situated just off the Boulevard Montparnasse, a few minutes walk from the Port Royal RER railway station which brought us direct from the Aeroport Charles de Gaulle, and near 3 other metro stations, which made getting... Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
