Hotel is convenient for Gare Montparnasse and the surrounding area. It's located in a small but bustling street with bars, bistros, music venues. Plenty of places for breakfast in the morning and for people watching. Staff were pleasant, upgraded us and gave us 1st floor room with large balcony/terrace over a side street. Balconies were joined and although clearly a place for smokers were useful. Downside was that they could be accessed from the back of the building with a bit of climbing so it was a case of closed window and needed aircon. Unfortunately, it was out of service/ waiting for an engineer. Room was big enough, everything worked, bed was fine. All good really. Fairly pricey, but it's central Paris. Didn't eat in the hotel as we wanted to sample the local area. Would check it out next time.…
Okay, I will start by saying that the staff of this hotel are really nice, helpful and they tried. It pains me to write a bad review when we were treated fairly. We arrived for what was to b a 4 night stay around 10 PM. Our prerequisite when booking a hotel around the warmer months is that it has A/C. The hotel site as well as booking.com state that it does...and it does, it just doesn't work. The hotel is aware of the issue, but it should state that it in inoperable on any booking site. The first room we were shown was really beat up & we didn't want to touch anything. The second room was perhaps a tiny bit less beat up, but not clean to our standards whatsoever. One towel was provided in the bathroom. We spent a sleepless night, sweating and listening to the noise all night in the street below, as we had to open windows. The windows only open 2 inches, so there was not much relief. We booked another hotel that night for the remaining 3 nights in Paris. The next morning the really nice woman at the desk, I believe her name was Lan, was very apologetic, offered us a free breakfast (which we didn't take advantage of so can't speak to the food), and let us out of the remaining reservation without charge. I can't speak about the other rooms in the hotel, but the 2 we saw were really bad.…
Friendly staff and a lovely room with excellent facilities, couldn’t have asked for more from our 3 night stay. The hotel is located in a really nice area also with easy connections to at least 3 stations. Thank you!
I have stayed in several smaller hotels in Paris over the years, and this is a real find! The room felt more spacious than I expected - high ceilings and big windows, a bathroom you can move around in, and I was lucky to get one of the rooms with terrace access. The furnishings are stylish and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is copious and tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The neighbourhood is great - several cafes and restaurants within a minute’s walk, the 14th is a down to earth area, and it’s well connected by metro, bus or foot for exploring the city. A real find!
This is a really nice hotel. Very clean, modern, and friendly. I had room 111 and it had a balcony that I didn't realize when I booked it. Bedding and towels were very nice. Coffee pot/Tea in the room. The staff was very accommodating and called for a taxi for us for the following morning. Very close to Montparnasse tower and Monoprix for groceries. Many restaurants are at the doorstep. I highly recommend this hotel.
Nice hotel. Clean rooms. Breakfast ok. Well suitable for tourist visits to Paris. Please note that it appeared from their website that they have parking. They do not have parking, but there is a hotel next door who offers parking in their basement so worked out fine in the end. Note for parking! As with many parking spaces in Paris - it is a tight fit. I am driving a Lexus NH350 and just about managed to squeeze it into the garage without any damage. I doubt that a sports car with low suspension or a larger car than mine would be able to enter and exit.
We found Hotel Le M to be perfect for our needs. Situated in an area with lots of restaurants and bars it still managed to be very quiet within the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and our room was clean and spacious enough for the two of us. The breakfast was good with both hot and cold choices. All in all, a good choice and we will return on our next visit to Paris.
Hotel was clean and well presented and the staff were really helpful. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities required. Great location approx 200yrds from the metro. Would definitely recommend for a weekend break
I liked it, staff were friendly, and spoke French to me when asked. Room clean and attractive, in the heart of Montparnesse. Nearby was an art fair, and the metro stop is very close, as is the train from the airport
It's a good room, and I will probably return because it is well-located, but: - The bathroom is poorly lit for someone who wants to shave. All lights are above and slightly behind a man hunting for stray whiskers in the mirror. - There was an odd mechanical, compressor sort of sound that could be heard every few minutes. I was tired enough to sleep through it. - The room is also not well lit, with no overhead lighting for packing. There were three lights, two on each side of the bed and one on the desk. The one on the desk did not function. With that said, it was clean, generally functional, well located, and the staff were very nice.
