I have stayed in Hotel De Sevres a total of 3 times with my wife. It is a small yet wonderful hotel. (not a typical American hotel. But very typical European). Rooms are spotless and nicely designed. The location is fantastic. Near the Metro, but we walk everywhere since nothing is too far. And the price is surprisingly affordable. I... More

Just what I wanted: a quiet room and rather big for Paris standards, simple but tastefully decorated with eye for detail, comfortable bed, friendly reception who care about the place, great location for shopping and hanging out. A place to come back to!

We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room and bed were very comfortable and quiet. The staff were very helpful and pleasant - an all round good experience. Great location too for all the treats of the Left Bank - including the Bon Marche department store and the food shops of the rue du... More

We stayed at the Hotel de Sevres for ten days. It was a delightful experience. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The location was excellent - the 6th arrondissement not far from the Latin Quarter, Montparnasse, and about a thirty minute walk to Notre Dame. Well located to the metro. We preferred to stay above-ground and take taxis,... More

No other word to describe this beautiful hotel. It is warm, cosy and clean. The staff are wonderful and helped make our little holiday even more amazing. I stayed here at the end of August with my boyfriend and we had the most wonderful time. We enjoyed our late starts followed by our coffees in the lovely patio garden where... More

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, and our latest visit proves that consistency is a virtue. The Hotel de Sevres is small, friendly, perfectly located, and unchanging, except for the occasional improvement to an already pleasant property. Located on a relatively quiet Left Bank side street, this hotel has watched its neighborhood--notably the rue du... More

The hotel was a block from the number 4 train, fairly easy walk with bags. Our room did not look like the picture and was quite small compared to the other 3 I had stayed in on this trip. I am a business person and had been traveling so I went straight for the internet with my Apple products. Nothing... More

A special place and wonderful lady owner who was so helpful, booked us a taxi for airport, we were staying in an apartment with no phone on 24 rue de l'abbe and didn't know where to get taxi. She was so wonderful and even gave a chocolate treat to the kids, without expecting anything in return. Thank you for helping... More

Tina, it is the first time we have a comment of a person which did not stay at our hotel but which was able to benefit from the excellent welcome of the reception. Thank you! We hope that you will come next time in hotel at the number 22 rue de l'abbé Grégoire. Friendly. HdeS More

We stayed at Hotel de Sevres for 3 nights with my mum and my sister. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is in a good location close to lovely shops and all the attractions of the left bank. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
