We very much enjoyed our stay at the seven hotel. Friendly staff, cosy rooms and a good atmosphere. Staff could speak good English too. The bed was very comfy, room was a good size (not too small not too big). The lights on the ceiling are a great feature too. Rooms were fairly clean and were always cleaned every day. The location is fairly good, you do a lot of walking to get from place to place but not a staggering amount. This was for my girlfriends 18th birthday and the hotel gave her a little welcome present which was a nice touch. Overall 4.5/5 stay and would recommend!

I stayed at this hotel over New Years for 4 nights. Near to bus stops and trains to get around. Hotel room was nice, I did however struggle doing my makeup in the room as it was so dark even with all the lights on. Staff were helpful with directions and gave us a map. We arrived on the Tuesday, the Wednesday (our first proper day) we put our leftover euros we weren’t taking out in our suitcase, which was inside a money slip. After arriving back to the hotel over €200+ euros had gone “missing”. We did not miss count this we were budgeting so knew how much had gone. This was the first day our room was cleaned so presumably from the cleaners. Hotel just apologised, nothing they could do. Our safe wasn’t working, and when telling them the day our money went missing they still did nothing about it the whole time we were there. I steel feel I shouldn’t have to hide my valuables when we are in locked accommodation.. I would not stay here again.

When first getting to the hotel, the entrance is nice enough, and staff are also. Our visit really fell down when we got to our room. We were aware that the hotel itself was a little quirky, however we weren’t prepared for how run-down the room was for a 4 star hotel. I have attached pictures but they don’t quite do it justice. It was far darker than we were expecting, so my girlfriend couldn’t do her makeup properly (most women I’m sure will understand), there was a wet pillow case on one of the bedside tables, a smell of damp coming from one side of the bed, multiple stains on the floors, mainly of the bathroom, wallpaper peeling away, holes in the ceiling, and missing lightbulbs. We did complain to the reception desk, and 2 out of 3 bulbs were replaced, which then flickered when on, but that’s as far as it went as they were apparently fully booked. No further compensation was offered, and whilst we have seen other people complain, all they are told is that they are undergoing refurbishment, which we saw no evidence of despite people being told this 6 months prior to our visit. I would also argue that the services they offer are greatly overpriced (breakfast, washing etc.) It’s a hotel with a lot of potential if it was done correctly, which I would expect it to be when I paid £200 per night. Very disappointed.

The Seven Hotel was a wonderful quick stay for me and my partner. Right in the heart of culture the neat hotel was both warm and welcoming of British travellers, new to the country. It was a little hard to see from the street (didn't quite look like the pic from outside) as there was no large sign but once we found it, it was very pleasant and stylish as well as clean and tidy which is top priority for me. I stayed for 3 nights in the Designer Room which I will admit was very dark and although this added to the stylish look and feel, could have done with brightening up for practicality especially during Winter. It was very clean and featured a modern smart TV (for us to access Netflix and Youtube), coffee machine (even though I prefer tea) and the usual complimentary amenities such as shower caps, sanitary bags, hairdryer etc. The shower was wonderful - we had no trouble with hot water, but the boards in the walk-in were loose and needed fixing. The bed was HIGH which was fine for me and my partner who are tall but may be a bit of trouble for other guests. It was very clean and comfortable and was promptly changed when we left out for the day. The only thing that I found uncomfortable with our room was the loud noises of either heating or air conditioners starting up - my guess that thats what it was but it was super loud and continuously would be start and stop from around 6:30am till when we would leave. Wifi services were free and worked well. I was very thankful of the adapter hotel staff provided us with at no fee or any trouble. There was no trouble with bringing in food from outside which we did twice as we only booked for breakfast. The continental breakfast could have been better - food was cold and there was no access to a microwave or toaster. Lots of fruit and nut based foods to choose from though and a coffee machine for hot drinks. We had no trouble with staff at all during our stay. They were polite and professional and didn't make us feel bad about our lack of fluency in French which I was nervous about. Our stay was already paid for through LoveHolidays so it's not to say our experience would have been worse or better if we had paid at the hotel which I see a lot of reviewers had issues with. I was not aware of the tax to pay when leaving at the start of my stay so it was a good thing we had the 150EUR security deposit back to cover this - just be aware if you are planning a trip and carry extra cash. Overall, I would stay at the Seven Hotel again and would recommend it for short stays with friends or young couples - if your looking for a bit more luxury then I would suggest booking one of the suites or themed rooms which I will probably do next time.

I experienced a very unprofessional behaviour: after checking in (at 11PM), the guy at the desk called me in the room TWICE around 11.30PM about the payment. First time, I told him the room had already been paid (he didn't see it "in the computer") and that we could sort it out during checkout. Second time, he insisted that I give my authorisation to bill my credit card. I had to tell him to F... OFF and to just LET ME SLEEP.

Dear "Cocoricofamily", Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion on Trip Advisor. You see me totally sorry for the disappointment of your stay. Our goal is to transport our customers in an atypical universe and all without wrong note. I sincerely regret that this has not been the case. Know that my team and I have taken the necessary steps regarding the clumsiness of our receptionist at night. I will be happy to make your next stay a success. Do not hesitate to contact me directly to do this. Yours truly, Flavie Lefevre
