2022 Travelers' Choice Best of the Best
Thanks to its prime location, at once historic and cultural, the Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal can boast a number of unique advantages right in the heart of Paris. Only a stone’s throw from the Palais Royal and its romantic formal gardens, next door to the Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens, it is nothing less than a haven of peace in a bustling capital city. Particularly bright, with soft colours and well thought-out comfort, the 68 rooms and suites of the hotel offer the splendour of the Palais Royal. The vast terrace on the confidential and quiet Place de Valois is an invitation to unwind. Our Café 52 restaurant, which offers a selection of organic, balanced and seasonal dishes throughout the day, in an intimate and warm atmosphere. Our Cuisine is geared towards well-being,respecting the seasonality of the products. The bar, an intimate setting with warm candle light, invites its guests and Parisians to discover healthy cocktails, vegetal lattes and finger food with a bold signature. The Holidermie Spa offers expert facial and body treatments combined with exclusive techniques and carefully formulated cosmetics. The Star Hammam and the fitness area are all places of well-being where relaxation and serenity are combined to allow time to stand still. Does this place remind you of a famous and recent Netflix show? It is indeed, the stunning place where Agence Savoir is located, in the Darren Star show Emily in Paris. RIGHT in front of the hotel.

Gorgeous boutique hotel in a prime location. You’ll be in walking distance to all the sights and luxury shopping destinations. Friendly staff and great service. The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The terrace was tiny, could not sit comfortably in the space to really enjoy the view. Overall, very pleased with the accommodations. Everything was as expected for a 5-star hotel in Paris.

Hotel's Favorite
Amazing customer service, the hotel is doing a fabulous job at keeping staff happy and it showed!!! The amazing service started from the time I reached out by email to book this hotel with Eve and Melanie. They could not be more helpful in answering my questions and replying very quickly. We booked a family/connecting rooms that consisted of a single door that opened to a small hallway where we had room 211-212. Very private and the kids loved having their own room. We could prop the door open so we could still hear them but had total privacy as well. I was nervous about the superior rooms being too small after reading some reviews, however they were bigger than expected and gorgeous! Our room had windows that looked on to the courtyard where I had fun seeing people take photo ops for their "emily in paris" imitation. Rooms were extremely clean, beds/linens/pillows were so comfortable we all had the best sleeps! The concierge were very helpful, standout being the service I received from Germain...he went above and beyond and was not bothered by my requests for dinner and indecisiveness. Restaurant recommendations were great, and he also booked us skip the line tickets for the Arc which was very helpful. I also appreciated Suzanne the manager reaching out wanting my feedback directly and we would communicate by messenger. You could tell everyone cared about making your trip and stay the best it could possibly be. Breakfast was included in the rate, overall good choices but my only recommendation would be to add perhaps pancakes, fresh berries and bran cereal but really it was quiet, unrushed and great service in the restaurant. Location was amazing and although close to the Louvre we found the hotel situated in a quiet sanctuary away from the hustle and buzz of the crowds. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend to anyone!

Wonderful boutique hotel in a great location near the Louvre. Staff is friendly and helpful, concierge did a fantastic job booking our meals and excursions. Our room included breakfast which offered plenty of great options from yogurt to pastries to omelets. My wife and I highly recommend.

Yes 5 stars to this gorgeous little hidden gem next to the palace and literally a view away from the Louvre. We were fortunate to stay on the 5th floor in a suite with not one but two balconies with views of Sacre Cour, the palace and Louvre! Wonderful service by all from start to finish. The included breakfast (which you can have in room as well) was incredible and so many choices! Very fresh and delicious. Our bath was noteworthy large for France standards with a tub and separate shower. Would highly recommend this hotel for a great location and excellent service and well earned Small Luxury Hotel. Merci!

We would rate it 100 if we could. From the beginning of the stay to the end, the staff were attentive and professional. They couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable and special. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the toiletries wonderful and the hotel decor was very chic without being over the top - exactly what we were after. The location unbeatable. The whole stay was an exercise in how the hospitality industry should be as standard. Our thanks to the whole team for making it a memorable 10 year wedding anniversary

A convenient gem of a hotel ! My teenage daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights at the end of July/beginning of August. You cannot beat the location in terms of convenience, safety, ease. The concierge staff is first rate. They were able to secure reservations at every spot we requested. They arranged a private guide and transportation to Versailles that was wonderful. They also arranged shipping via DHL of flea market purchases back to the us. Truly the staff made our stay much easier for me ! Our room faced the Valois courtyard and was very quiet. While small, it was clean and the bathroom was modern and efficient. Breakfast was included in our room rate and it was more than adequate. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. I would defiantly stay there again. Palais royale is across the street and a beautiful stroll in the early am !

My husband and I just got back from our nine night stay at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal. I wanted to offer them my compliments on our entire stay. We arrived on July 12th as our train from London was delayed and we were pressed for time and the road to your hotel was closed due to construction. Concierge member Irina and another one of her coworkers were the first smiles we saw as our cab was parked by the Cafe Royal. She came down the street to help get our luggage out of the car, take it back to the hotel and check us in so we could get to a food tour in Le Marais. WOW!!!! So we were so impressed from checkin to check out by your entire staff. Every time we came in from being out all day, we were greeted by smiles and a BONJOUR which felt like being home. The concierge team and especially Irina, are EXCEPTIONAL! They are knowledgable and friendly and helpful. Every single reservation they made for us was PERFECT. Every change they did for me was also PERFECT. The bar area is beautiful and relaxing, the drinks are cool and refreshing. The dining area was comfortable and peaceful and the food was delicious. The front desk staff are friendly helpful and also delightful. One girl at the front desk even came out and spoke to the cab driver to make sure we got to where we needed to go. The room was small, BUT had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the balcony was what I wanted. I loved having room service in the room and the Nespresso coffee maker as well. When we ordered room service it came on time and efficiently. ALWAYS with a smile. I cant say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The location is perfect, the staff is professional and caring and the facilities we welcoming. Thank you for all you ALL do for us as guests. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! After a long international flight, we were able to freshen up in their spa. They also held our bags, so we could grab lunch before check-in. We stayed in another Paris hotel later in our trip. The rooms at The Grand Hotel du Palais Royal were large in comparison! The rooms were also clean, quiet and conveniently located near the Louvre. We would definitely stay here again!
