The staff at Hotel Mistral are wonderful - they are accommodating and very friendly. We arrived very early in the morning and gave us one of 2 rooms reserved well in advance of check in time to rest. Will definitely return during our next trip!

What a lovely hotel! The rooms are fairly modern and very clean. Beds are incredibly comfortable (and I have a bad back, so I'm picky.) The staff was supremely helpful. Location close to metro. Super!

Yes, we would recommend Hotel Mistral. We stayed for 3 nights in early August. The room was clean (and cleaned everyday), the bed was very comfortable and the decor was simple and smart. The bathroom was great, roomy and light. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. I think it would be good if the tea, coffee and milk were...

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived ahead of schedule thinking we would drop off our bags but they allowed us to check in early. The room was bright and clean with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is on a quiet street near metro and train stations. The nearby Rue Daguerre has quaint cafes, restaurants and...

We stayed in a one bedroom and were happy about the choice from the beginning. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and spoke English very well The lounge even had some pastries out for us when we arrived. The room is small, but has everything you need: shower, sink, storage, comfortable bed, and a window that opens (they also have...

Excellent place - simple and close to all things. Good breakfast and good room. It is very close to Raspain station and you can walk everywhere - from the Notre dame to the Eiffel tower. We will stay again in the future.

No major complaints about this hotel. Easy to walk to from Montparnasse train station and was a very affordable price. The price was great, especially considering the high level of service and location.

Coming back to the Mistral is always a pleasure. Friendly staff (treat yourself to a chat with the night porter before turning in!), hearty breakfasts, an oasis of a garden, and nice rooms. Montparnasse is an interesting part of Paris, from any point of view: Restaurants, cafés, bars, clubs, theatres, cinemas and parks are in abundance, and if you're the...

The rooms were excellent, the staff superb and the location unbeatable. We had booked a three person room but they offered us a second room for our son at no extra cost - amazing. Perhaps the only quibble was the breakfast which was not quite at the standard we have seen in Parisian Hotels - but it was still quite...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
