The hotel is in an excellent location, a few blocks from the metro and arc de triumph. Tons of good cafes all around also. Staff was wonderful and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good with ample choices. The rooms were small and the bathroom was tiny but we didn’t go to Paris to sit in a room so I found a lot of value in this hotel. I don’t expect American size rooms in Europe anyway. I would stay there again
My family of four stayed overnight at Hotel Tilsett. Easy check in, good amenities, quiet room, steps away from restaurants and cafes for an excellent price. My kids had separate beds, while my wife and I had a nice full or queen to share.
The hotel was located close to the Arc Triomphe, which was excellent. Good restaurants and bars close bar. The rooms are not large, particularly the bathroom but they are typical if hotels in the centre of Paris in this price range. We had a couple of difficulties during our stay ( not with the hotel) and the staff were extremely helpful. We will definitely use Tilsett E'toille and its partner hotels when in Paris.
Very good location, very nice staff, they need to replace the beds and you can hear the noises of the next room, the metro is really close and there are many options for food and stores, plus the area is very nice
Hotel was in a great location and staff was friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The little things like cleansing towelettes and chocolate on the pillow made this place even more charming. Would definitely stay here again.
Reception: Staff at reception are welcoming, friendly and helpful Room / facilities: Room number 76 is on the ground floor and is exceptionally clean. It features a comfortable queen bed, with 4 pillows, flat screen TV (no english channels), tea and coffee facilities, desk, hanging area and safe, 2x bed side lamps. The room has a small bathroom with a combo tub/shower (the tub does get slippery on occasions) with liquid soap and shampoo, and small separate toilet. The towels are thick and thirsty. Oddly, there is no power outlet in the bathroom for electric shavers. 2x bottles of water were provided to us daily. There are free coffee facilities in the reception area along with a bar. Our room had its own individual split system air conditioning with a window and courtyard doors that opens fully. The courtyard/terrace had a small table and 2 seats. Laundry: No self service coin operated facilities at the hotel, but a self service coin laundry with washers and dryers is less than 100 meters from the hotel. A wash cost €5 for 7kg and dry is €1.50 per 12 mins. Parking: none available at the hotel, however there is a public car park is available in the next street/ block “rue de l’etoile”. Prices are €16 overnight. Wifi: is good but can be a little slow when guests are all using at the same time. Breakfast: Available for a fee. This was not used during our visit. Conclusion: Great hotel, perfect location. Excellent helpful staff and very clean rooms. Letdowns: Small bathroom/toilet. No power outlet in the bathroom. No fridge in the room. Location / Nearby: The hotel is only 350 m from the Arc De Triomphe and Charles de Gaulle etoile metro station. With the that the champs-Elysees also starts at the arc. Heaps of restaurants, fast food stores, four supermarkets within a 5 min walk. The self serve coin laundry is 100m away. Parking is in the next block, small supermarket is 100m away. Getting to hotel: Train/ Metro, blue line 2, exit at Charles de Gaulle etoile metro station, use De Wagram exit. Hotel is after McDonalds, turn left on on Rue Brey, and it us dow toward the end of the street.…
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Tilsitt in Paris. Centrally located but on a nice quiet street. Lots within walking distance of the hotel. Bus, Metro stops nearby also. Building is well kept up. Breakfast downstairs was good with lots of variety. Bed was comfortable.
I have stayed here twice - 3 years apart - on both occasions the elevator was out-of-order at critical times and carrying heavy luggages up and down 5 flights of stairs with no help from the hotel is a disgrace.
The bathroom was very small and not space effective making it difficult to move around in there and also everything got very wet as it was small. The breakfast food needs more variety and to be covered over from flies, also better locks on the windows as they wasn’t very secure with no locks on.
Everything was just perfect, I really enjoyed staying there with my family, the staff is super helpful, especially HADI the prince of night shift he is really the best. I recommend the hotel for families.
