Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made
for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming
bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s
at night this area really comes to life. Students and
young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille
and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock
to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait
for coveted tickets during the day. Towards

The hotel is conveniently located between the Bastille and Gare De Lyon stations (both at about 5 mins' walk). Restaurants / supermarkets are at a 2-3 mins walk.
The check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff was very efficient, helpful and cooperative.
Rooms are cosy and have

Clean, cozy and little tiny...this restaurant is a typical place you can think about if you spend some day in Paris... close to Bastille and Gare se Lyon, I found it really good.
Very professional the staff at the front-desk.

Hotel is situated in a great location, between Gare De Lyon and Bastille Metro.

The Hotel is a lovely modern contemporary looking establishment, welcomed by friendly and professional Receptionist.

First of all well located, extremely friendly and helpfull staff.
Second, at ground level there is an ongoing painting exposition, that is eyecatching and transforms the ambiance.
Rooms are small, although recently redone with a modern touch. But in Paris you cannot expect large

We looked for a hotel close to the Bastille Theatre and this was a pleasant choice. Small rooms - a little dated - but clean and in a nice location. The breakfast was very nice but was not keen on having to sit near the reception area in very low chairs and table. However this

What is the least expensive way to get from BVA?
We took a shuttle taxi that cost 40 euro for 2 pax but it was a disaster considering the fact that it took us 4 hours from the time we landed until we arrived at the hotel. I think it would be cheaper to go by train but that is feaseble only if you have light luggage. As far as I know there is a shuttle train or buss from the airport to Gare du Nord . From there is a direct train to Gare de Lyon and a 10 min walk straight along the Lyon street in front if the station to Jules cesar street were you turn left. The main problem is to find your way in the Gare du Nord which is very confusing and you need to walk endlessly. Please also beware of people trying to"help" you in the stations. They do nit work there so only talk to the personnel in the ticket office

Hello we are wondering if you offer airport transfers from CDG airport to your hotel. We are coming to Paris at the end of July 2018 and I am looking for some hotels for one night which offer a transfer. Thanks, Carolyn
Sorry, don’t know the answer. We walked from the train station. I’m sure the hotel will respond to an email or phone call. They responded to my questions very promptly.

We fly into CDG airport. What is the cheapest way to get to your hotel? How long would the t Taxi journey be and how much can we expect to pay?
Dear Jane, There are different ways to come from Charles de Gaulle Airport to our hotel. - by train : RER B from the airport to Gare du Nord Station and then change to Metro line 5 (direction Place d'Italie) and then way out in Bastille Station and follow the exit 4. (we are located 5 minutes walking distance from Bastille). Price: 10 euros - by Air France bus transfer : from the airport to Gare de Lyon Station (we are located 10 minutes walking distance from Gare de Lyon). These buses run every 30 minutes. Price: 17,50 euros - by taxi : 55 euros (CDG) We stay at your disposal for more information you may need, We are looking forward to welcoming you. Best Regards, Marceau Bastille Team

Hello, also for me the room and the lift are quite small, but very well located and close to public transportation
