Loved this boutique hotel that is only minutes away from Moulin Rouge, bars and restaurants but is located in a very quiet side street so we heard no noise at all. Lovely quirky room with very good air con. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Would definitely return and highly recommended
The hotel is in a great location- on a quiet side street but minutes from the metro and close to bars and restaurants. We loved being able to stroll up to Sacre Coeur and mooch around the side streets. On our second day we walked to Musee d’Orsay – a good walk (even longer coming back uphill!) but worth it as we saw so much en route. The staff at the hotel were without exception friendly and helpful. On our first day one member of staff ran up four flights of stairs to assist us which was very impressive! The room and in particular the bathroom were large by Paris standards and very comfortable. This is not a luxury hotel but as someone to rest and as an excellent base I couldn’t fault it.
Located in the heart of Montmartre, this hotel manages to hide itself away from all the hustle and bustle in a quiet side street behind the Moulin Rouge. Upon arrival it immediately felt homely and we were greeted with genuine warmth. Our twin room was situated on the ground floor and was extremely spacious with double windows that created natural light during the day, but also shutters as well as curtains to block out the light at night. Coffee making facilities and a fridge were also provided. The bathroom was also a good size with a separate WC. Step outside and there are an abundance of cafes, restaurants and boutiques to explore. Blanche metro station is a stone throw from the hotel which was very convenient. This hotel is a perfectly positioned little gem and would certainly stay here again.…
I only needed a bed (family live round the corner!) so have no experience of other services, e.g. breakfast. But reception staff all v. courteous and helpful. For example, I was booked to share a twin room with my son, who had to cancel, and on check-in the receptionist asked if they should convert the twin beds to one double. Not essential but nice that they did it! The place was spotless, good bathroom with daily towel change and generous supply of quality toiletries. Soundproofing was good - my room was opposite the lift (5th floor), but I didn't hear it or any noise from other guests. Bedroom was a decent size, unlike many Paris hotels! I booked a "superior room" and paid €912 for 6 nights, including VAT and city tax. Excellent value (for 2 people). I will certainly go there again.…
All the good things written in the reviews of this hotel are true. However I had the misfortune to stay here last night when a full force techno party started up directly opposite my room on the first floor. I went to complain to the night manager and to see if he could move me to a quieter room. However, he said that these parties were a regular occurrence, he couldn’t do anything, and he couldn’t move me to another room. So at 4 am I had to ring the police to complain and they eventually came around to quieten things down. I checked out a day early this afternoon because I did not want to risk another sleepless night. The hotel still charged me for the full stay. Just an unfortunate experience. Not the hotel’s fault. But they really need to do something about their neighbours if they want people to stay there on weekends.…
We stayed in this hotel during summer and we had a great experience! First of all, we booked a simple room and as we had a lot of luggage they offered to storage most of the luggage that we wouldn’t use in their own compartment which has helped a lot as we booked a small room. They dispose of a nice friendly front desk service that helped us a lot giving tips about restaurants and things to do. Checkin is allowed even very late as we had a very late flight arrival and for me it was just GREAT. I will definitely come back to this hotel next summer and hope they’ll be open because they’ve been closed for long time due to covid issues.
Decent hotel. Good location. But overpriced and bare bones amenities. Would stay again provided there is a price reduction and more bathroom toiletries included. Staff mostly friendly with exception of one young man.
Beautifully decorated and clean room. The interiors have been put together to really cater to those American fantasies of what Paris must be like - with striped wallpaper, thick carpets and curtains and low-key classically designed furniture. It didn't really feel like a hotel, more like your rich Parisian aunt's spare room. The rooms are not huge (especially if there are two of you) but that is typical for Paris and certainly very good for the price (it's expensive here!). Above and beyond value for money, I would suggest, in comparison to other Parisian hotels. The staff were very friendly and kind and the hotel has a boutique, family-run-but professional vibe. Nobody is in your face but they are here to help if you need them. I suspect the place is bigger than it really feels. The location was one of the best things for me. I usually stay in the Marais but absolutely loved Montmartre, where I had only been briefly before. So many delightful cafes, bars and restaurants (writing this in the middle of the pandemic and it feels a world away) as well as a great market just down the road filled with delicious snacks and wines. The Moulin Rouge is just around the corner so there are certainly tourists around but this is no "fake" neighborhood - plenty of locals about, eating and drinking alongside the visitors. I felt there was a lot to discover but we didn't have time. We just wondered into the restaurants and bars up and down the various streets and never really experienced a dud. This would be a wonderful place to base yourself, to get a taste of a real neighbourhood before seeing the standard sights. We walked around at night a bit too, and felt safe here on the whole. I would highly recommend this hotel - it is one of the nicest I've stayed in, in Paris, especially for the price (suspect January is a slow month and lower prices but still good) and the neighbourhood is a delight.…
Absolutely great hotel in a fabulous location in Montmartre. Super easy to get around, helpful and obliging staff and charming decor. Based on the photos on the website I was a little anxious that the classic rooms would be very small, but they were far larger than anticipated and there was more than enough room for two and our luggage. Many thanks!
This was a lovely boutique hotel situated in the heart of Montmartre village with beautiful decor. Staff were were friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect - and very quiet as we overlooked the courtyard. We would definitely come back and stay again.
