Great place to stay for short term accommodation. I spent 5 days with my girlfriend and we had such a very good experience at Mary’s Hotel. Most of all, the location is outstanding! I truly recommend the private rooms.
Shabby room. Dirty carpet and bedspread. Decrepit bathroom. They refused to honor the "complementary breakfast" deal that we booked. The hotel was jam-packed with college students (ironically from my Alma Mater) and they whooped it up into the wee hours. When we complained (my husband...More
I realise that in Paris, 80 euros a night seems quite good value, but it's not when you have to put up with hotels of this quaiity.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights and could not stand it. We stayed 2 nights and booked into another hotel. It was noisy, couldn't sleep, rooms were so small that there was not enough space to put your bag, the shower was also small...More

Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards
Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighborhood.

Hello. I wish you a safe and pleasant trip. The hotel is not "close" to the airport. However, it is very easily and economically accessible by train. From CDG airport, take the train (called RER), line B. The airport train station is conveniently located in Terminal 2. The ticket costs 10 euros. Get off the train in Gare du Nord station. There, follow the signs to Metro line #5. Use the same train ticket. Take Metro #5 heading to Place Italie. After 4 stops get off the metro at Oberkampf station. The Hotel is located exactly next to the Oberkampf metro station. The train ride takes 25 minutes and the Metro ride takes 10 minutes.
