From the moment you walk in you realize that you're in a magical time. From the Chapeaux Lightshades, Bookshelf wall paper, quill and works by Victor Hugo you step back in time and away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets of Paris. Very comfortable with friendly & courteous staff. Morning coffee & Breakfast is delicious and handy.... More

Stayed here on a business trip where I needed convenient access to Gare du Nord. This is a 15 min walk away. Its a romantic type place. Would not mind staying here on a Paris trip with my wife. Loads of nice cafes and brasseries in the area. Ok breakfast. Pretty rooms. Friendly staff. All good value.

The Les Plumes is a nice boutique hotel, quite close to Lafayette, Sacre Coeur, Opera. I was here on business and for me it was a good choice. Not too sure how I would feel if my wife would have been with me, the room is decent size but could be small depending on length of stay. I would surely... More

This is a nice hotel at a great location, near for example Montmartre and Lafayette. A couple of things related to service were a bit disappointing. When we arrived late in the evening, the person at the front desk was not very nice. He told us breakfast was not included, although we thought it was, but according to him it... More

We stay at Les Plumes after a few AirBnB stays while in France. This hotel feels like a Parisian, boutique style hotel. Our room was very small but had plenty of nice updates. The room was well appointed with nice lighting and decorating. The bathroom nicely appointed and the shower was of good size (always a problem in Paris). Our... More

Overall my husband and I enjoyed this boutique hotel. Location was good and there were two Metro stations nearby to make getting around easy. In fact, we enjoyed traveling around Paris on the Metro as if we were natives! Staff was very nice and quite helpful. They definitely went the "extra mile" to make us feel welcomed. Breakfast was a good... More

We stayed here for a 3 night stay in April. I really liked the decor of the hotel. The staff were friendly and really helpful, providing us with lots information on the best way to get around the city. The hotel was for us ideally located, we were attending a concert which was only 10 minute walk away. It was... More

The hotel is very close to a metro stop, so it is extremely to easy to get around the city from this hotel. There is a good selection for breakfast. My partner and I travelled on Friday by Eurostar for 2 nights at this hotel. It was an easy 10 minute walk from gare de nord. On arrival we upgraded to a suite for an extra €50 a night. Our room was on the top floor and had a quirky feel. Interesting views from the Windows added to the feel... More

I travelled to Paris with my grand daughter to celebrate her 18th birthday. We arrived on Eurostar and for anyone without mobility problems it is possible to walk from Gare du Nord to the hotel, although there is a nearby metro station which used frequently while we were in Paris. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient. The manager... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
