Richard is located in a quiet little neighbourhood surrounded by welcoming bars and restaurants. Just around the corner is a mouthwatering boulangerie, the best I tasted in Paris. The metro is less than a two minute walk from Richards front door. Staff were welcoming, with even the cleaning lady being extra friendly. Room was clean and crisp, shower was very... More

You get exactly what you expect for the price you pay. Far exceeded expectations and had absolutely no concerns about the room. Would definitely recommend to groups travelling and looking for somewhere cheap. We stayed for 3 nights and had no problems with the hotel, staff or the bedrooms. Received fresh sheets and towels on arrival and upon request thereafter.... More

There was to much noise at the hotel, we could ear everything. We had to sleep with the windows open because we couldn't turn off the heater... We called for the receptionist to do the check out, and no one responded until the waitress said the receptionist was a little ocupied and we had to wait for like 20 min..... More

Even don't know where to start really. I was working at the hotels by myself and I was travelling a lot. Stayed in B&B, Hostels, private properties etc. But this place was beyond the believe of my eyes. First of all the official photo of the hotel - is the building next door:)))). Really?:))) The location is ok. It is... More

It was not as bad as other reviews make it out to be! You get what you pay for ($40 a night for a private room with bathroom and queen size bed), but our room was clean and easily accessible. We had our own bathroom attached to our room so maybe that changed our experience, but the room was simple... More

Cute but could possibly have bed bugs. Very close to the metro which was nice and convenient but I'll never come back due to the one outlet in the room which me and my friend had to share and awkward toilet closet (I wouldn't call it a bathroom) and the possibility of bed bugs.

A cheap and easy place to stay if a bit difficult to find. Located in an arty district of Paris and about 100m away from the underground. The room was very basic, with just a bed, shower and washbasin. The bed was comfortable enough but I did wonder how clean it was. The shower had no hot water in the... More

Hotel Richard is in a good location within a minute walk of a mcdonalds and metro which can take you to all the places you need to visit in Paris. However, the hotel it's self was very dirty inside and only has a one microwave. The toilets are on each floor and are very dirty and very cramped. The rooms... More

Stayed here because it was so cheap but its very dodgey! Not very clean and instead of a front window - its all boarded up!!! Location is good near metro which was very handy! I wouldnt stay again - pay the extra €20 and stay somewhere you feel safe!

We went to Paris for holidays from Australia. My sister who lives in Paris came to hotel to book and fully paid for 3 nights. She booked under my name and they issued the tax invoice with the room number 38 which has an ensuite in the room. We arrived there from Australia around 5pm and i told the man... More
