...A freezing pool, out of service sauna and a barely working steam room is what we found and when we asked if they could turn up the steam room temperature a bit higher or maybe turn on the sauna the answer from the receptionist was that there was nothing they can do. The room was average With a glass wall that separates the bathroom from the bedroom which is really uncomfortable if you're traveling with a romantic partner we also had trouble connecting the TV to Netflix or any sort of streaming service due to it not being connected to the Wi-Fi and unfortunately didn’t receive any help or feedback from the reception...

Lyric hotel was one of three hotels we chose for our stay in Paris to try and experience Paris... One of the highlights and reasons we picked this hotel was the SPA area, but unfortunately it was a total disappointment...

I stayed at the Lyric Hotel in October of 2022 and had a really good experience... Check in to the Lyric was very easy and welcoming... The staff patiently listened to me speak in French, but they all speak English as well... The room was well appointed, very clean, comfy bed, light and bright with a very nice bathroom, mini-bar with free items (bottled water, soda etc)... This is a solid hotel and if I return to Paris, I would stay here without even looking at other hotels... They even reserved a Taxi for me early on the last day to take me to the airport and that was super convenient...

With ONE exception, I did not find the reception staff particularly knowledgeable or friendly. Also, I had to call the desk to repair a broken light fixture in the bathroom three times before it was done...

...Asked for an additional 2 pillows twice that we never received. Asked for additional sodas (cokes) to be stored in our refrigerator that never happened!... I was even told when I asked for the extra sodas that they were only complimentary on our check in!...

Check in to the Lyric was very easy and welcoming... The staff patiently listened to me speak in French, but they all speak English as well... The room: I reserved a 4th floor room with a balcony... The room was well appointed, very clean, comfy bed, light and bright with a very nice bathroom, mini-bar with free items (bottled water, soda etc)... I was debating whether I should get a larger suite or if I should get the balcony room….in the end, I went with the balcony and was SO glad I did…I used it quite a little bit in the evenings... This is a solid hotel and if I return to Paris, I would stay here without even looking at other hotels...
