We had booked 3 nights in the H d P M as an anniversary weekend based on Tripadvisor and other sites. Whilst not the cheapest (however nothing in Paris is) the hotel was brimming with character without looking like Miss Faversham's dining room. I hadn't stayed or even visited Le Marais before but the area is ideal for young(ish) couples... More

we just spent 3 nights at du Petit Moulin and had a great time. The hotel is wildly stylish yet comfortable, the location is great and the staff were very nice. The hotel rate did not include breakfast but a quick pastry stop started off our days. There was some street noise on weekends but being a light sleeper I... More

Fantastic Hotel, great location and very friendly staff. We stayed in early January 2009 and had such a great time. we got room 202 which my girlfriend wanted as it features on a lot of the websites and promotional material (see pic on http://www.paris-hotel-petitmoulin.com/petit-moulin-hotel-english/the-rooms-01.html for what room 202 looks like) The staff were very friendly at all times, always happy... Stayed one night superior room 16 Dec 2008. Location is very good in the Marais. Hotel is small and quaint. The décor is obviously special. The lobby and bar is nice. But that is my general impression of the hotel: Nice. For being a relatively newly renovated hotel I must say the standard/quality pretty low and rundown, already. The superior... More

From the moment we walked through the door we knew we were about to experience something special. The room was ready early as we requested and we were jokingly "scolded" for being a little later than anticipated. Starting off with a good laugh is a good thing. The entire staff was helpful and so friendly. The room (301) was spacious,... More

Stayed here with my partner for a romantic weekend and the hotel was just perfect...gorgeous interioir, our room had a roll top bath big enough for us both. Staff are very friendly and the location is just perfect - great bars, restaurants and boutiques are close at hand. Breakfast was relaxed and good value. A very special little hotel.

We stayed at this hotel at the start of an 8 week trip to France and Italy. There were 3 of us - including a 9 year old child. We had a deluxe suite which was room 402. It was spacious and the extra bed was a fold away but more than fine. The lift only went to level 3... More

We booked after seeing a review of this boutique hotel in the Times. Every room (it is small so only 15) is individually decorated by Christian Lacroix. Perfectly situated near boutiques and lovely traditional cafes, bars, restaurants. Very friendly staff, very clean.

We only spent one night in this night hotel but we had a fantastic time, Laurent the concierge was excellent and probably the most helpful guy you will ever come across. I asked him about the local galleries on arrival, an hour later he had composed a full list together just for us, he even checked each one so we... More

Spent one night with my wife at this wonderful, charming hotel in Le Marais. It's expensive, but well worth it for a treat. The building has bundles of character and the design has a great, luxury boutique feel. The bathroom was beautiful and the free standing bath was big enough to swim in! Breakfast was served by really friendly, helpful... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
