Detailed Reviews
Pros:
Amazing location in the 1st arrondissement, very close to the Louvre and metro stations.
Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Amazing French breakfast - not many products, but everything is top quality.
Free coffee and tea available throughout the day.
Cons:
The hotel needs renovation, especially the carpets throughout and the bathrooms need an upgrade.
The elevator does not function most of the time.
As a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids), we were provided with 2 rooms in 2 different corners - better booking management needed.
Considering the improvements in the above cons, we would definitely come back over and over again. The hotel has so much potential. We loved our stay.

Dear Edonatha, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on Tripadvisor following your stay at our destination. I'm delighted to learn that you particularly appreciated our hotel's location in the heart of Paris, a few steps from numerous monuments, stores, restaurants and metro stations. I would like to thank you for highlighting the service and hospitality of our staff, and the quality of our breakfast. I'm delighted that you appreciated the hot drinks machine available throughout the day free of charge. I'm sorry you had a few problems with our elevator, it can happen very rarely that it breaks down which is unfortunately out of our control. Our technician will intervene within a few hours to solve the problem. Concerning the allocation of your rooms, we take care to allocate each of our customers as well as possible, especially for families with children. You have booked 2 Deluxe rooms. As we discussed with you during your stay, we have 3 Deluxe rooms in our hotel. 2 rooms on the 2nd floor. 1 room on the 3rd floor. We have therefore allocated you the 2 Deluxe rooms on the 2nd floor so that your family can be on the same floor as close as we can offer. We take note of your comments in order to improve and always offer the best to our guests. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Hotel Paris Louvre Opéra during your next stay in Paris. Yours sincerely, Florian - Front Desk Manager.

we chose this hotel for its outstanding location. From the moment we arrived, this small boutique property conveyed a great sense of welcome and professionalism. The young lady (Josephine) who checked us in (we would soon learn that she was in fact the General Manager) was as delightful as she was helpful in getting us settled. We were a bit taken aback when we got to the room as it wasn't much larger than the king sized bed that owned it. BUT, as we were only sleeping there and upon trying the bed out for comfort (which it most certainly was) and based on the warm greeting from Josephine decided it was just fine! The well appointed bathroom had a great shower so we unpacked and headed out to start our Paris experience. In the morning, a delightful breakfast was offered including scrambled eggs inventively served in individual glasses (something I decided to try at home) Delicious cappuccinos were served on request along with an array of other thoughtful options to satisfy anyone's preferences. We had the good fortune to meet several other staff members who, like Josephine were warm and eager to assist us in any way they could. We were only spending 2 nights at this lag of our trip before moving on to Marseille and beyond for 2 more weeks but vowed to return whenever we had the opportunity to need a hotel in Paris. As a point of reference, I spent over 20 years in the hotel industry as an executive for an international hotel company so I know good service and attention to guests needs and wishes. Josephine and her staff get my highest marks for their performance!

Excellent boutique hotel, very well located, close to the Louvre and the Opera Garnier, with the Pyramids metro stop nearby. Totally surrounded by fantastic Asian restaurants like AKI and French restaurants like Belle Epoque. The staff were excellent. The air conditioning was not working in one room and they changed our room immediately by moving our luggage. Lots of quality details like cold juices in the middle of the afternoon. We would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is very small but very comfortable. The location is great, walkable to so many things, including the Louvre Museum. We enjoyed room service our first night as we were exhausted from the long flight. The hotel staff, including Mary, specifically, were very kind and helpful and made wonderful suggestions and were just helpful in general. the hotel is located on a quiet street. If you are a large person the shower may not be big enough for you so keep that it mind. The towels are nice and fluffy and the shower has nice water pressure and plenty of hot water. the bed was also comfortable and having a refrigerator was super nice. I would stay here again for sure.

Ideally located next to the Louvre, restaurants and bars. The staff is very friendly, smiling and caring. The rooms are clean, equipped with a fridge and soundproofed. There is water and hot drinks available at reception, which is appreciated. Breakfast is complete and varied with cold meats, eggs and sausages, and fruit. Pancakes, ham and cheese. To recommend!

We had a great time staying at the hotel. The location is perfect. 10 min walk to the Louvre (where you can catch the train to the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower etc.), 5 min to the Opera, 7 min to Galaries Lafayette or Place Vendo^me (at different directions). If you’re a fan of Cedric Grolet, his stores are just 2 mins away! The staff were all very nice, especially Florian, who was always very helpful, professional, hard working and smiling all the times. The hotel should clone more of Florian please :) The room was big enough for Paris standard, it got cleaned every day. The Filipino staff at breakfast was very nice and friendly. We loved chatting to him. Thanks for having us. We’ll definitely be back soon :)

My wife and i rebooked this after our original trip in March 2020 was cancelled due to Covid-19. Since then, we have had a baby and recently got married so this was our little mini-moon.
We had a fantastic 3 night stay at this hotel. It is centrally located in the 1st Arrondissement, just one street off of Avenue De L’Opera, and close to the Louvre, Place Vendome, Galaries Vivienne to name a few.
It’s also a 10 minute walk from Chatelet Les Halles, where we got the train to from CDG.
On arrival we were given a warm welcome by Florian at reception, who checked us in efficiently and went over the details. The night receptionist was also very friendly, however, i did not get his name.
The hotel itself is very nice, the reception/dining area was very nicely decorated and a nice place to sit and eat or relax.
The room is very small, but was quirky and space was made to good use. And, importantly, it was clean and had a comfortable bed. This was ideal for us, as we spent the majority of the day out exploring.
Overall, i’d definitely recommend this hotel, however, if you are going to be spending more time in your room then it is on the small side.

Very safe area, good bakery nearby (Aki). Staff was generally nice. They are very strict about ordering taxes more than 24 hours in advance so if you miss that time frame then you order it yourself which was fine. Pretty quiet neighborhood. The hotel was very clean.

While searching for a hotel for second part of of paris stay we happened to see a number of good reviews for this hotel and happened upon it - while walking in Opera area . It was heavy rainstorm and Claire was extremely friendly and we were invited to dry off in lobby.
We reserved room for following several nights and when arrived Check in was quick and easy.
The room was superior to that of our previous stay (Hotel Mayet). Comfortable with large bed - USB charger on clock radio and a very nice breakfast in lobby area. We had a chance to also visit with the hotel manager (another Claire) and learn about the area. The hotel arranged transportation to the airport as flight times made trains to airport a bit of pain. Easy walking to major attractions in this area

I had a great experience other than the fact that the quality of the hotel was bad. However, I wasnt paying a lot and the location was great so Im still happy. In regards to the quality, my bed was very crooked and leaning in towards the middle in a steep angle. When I asked to have it fixed, they apologized and said all the beds are like that to some degree. Also, the shower head holder was falling off so we had to hold the shower head (which is common in Europe, but inconvenient for an American who is used to fixed shower heads) They ended up fixing it though, so it was good. Also the drain in the sink didnt work so we ended up needing to take it out and leave it out for the sink to drain. Not a big problem for me because I am very easy going and have low standards.

Feel free to contact us if you need further information,
See you soon hopefully!
I don't know about cots but the staff are very helpful and will usually respond quickly to email questions (Alexandre and Guillaume are two people who have been very helpful to us) so send them your question perhaps. We've always found it a quiet hotel at night - good for sleeping - even though it's right in the centre of Paris.
