From the point of contact over the phone I was happy. We moved from a horrible Air BnB apartment and were really happy with the well priced Serotel. Great location with lots of bars, restaurants and between a supermarket and bio store with the Metro station Poissonière less than 50m away. Concierge were all very friendly, happy, helpful - all of the time. We were upgraded with no extra charge to a larger room with breakfast included. With elevator access, our room had 1 seperate bedroom, a seperate well appointed shower and further separate toilet. A super comfortable king bed. Lovely clean new linen. Beautiful pillows in abundance. A fantastic quantity of bathroom towels and amenities. The sofa bed was well made and comfortable. The combined lounge warm, clean and large enough. The kitchen had a double electric hob, microwave, coffee machine and pods, dishwasher, kettle and sink. The whole apartment had plenty of windows and light and was easy to regulate the temperature in winter. Our room was serviced perfectly daily. My only recommendation would be more cooking equipment such as pots/ pans. I was provided with one on request. And a bin in the kitchen/ lounge. The breakfast was a light cold arrangement of pastries, meats, cheese, juice, tea, coffee, fruits and yogurts and cereal. It could be more expansive. Loved our stay and would stay again. …
Stayed when we went to Paris to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. On arrival we were greeted with a very friendly welcome. Our room was on the ground floor with access to the garden which had lovely seats and settees and lighting for the evenings. .our room as big with plenty of space and we had a wet room which was huge with plenty of hot water and big soft towels. The hotel is very convenient for sight seeing as you are in walking distant of most attractions. There is a couple of shops nearby for the odd bits and they are open late. The breakfast in ok plenty of choice and as muc( as you can eat. We went horse racing on the Sunday and they organised a taxi for us. Alberto was very helpful recommending restaurants and the quickest way to see things which w3 appreciated. The beds are extremely comfortable and there is a coffee machine in each room with plent6 of coffee pods. Will stay here on our nex5 visit…
We were booked in this hotel by a travel agent. We were supposed to have 4 people in the room, which had a bedroom and foldout couch in the living room area. The room was nice and foldout couch surprisingly comfortable. The AC was awesome as it was at the peak of the heatwave. There was a small kitchenette, which was nice. Very close to the train station and some good restaurants. The negatives were that the bathroom was tiny (think smaller than a cruise ship bathroom) and the living area was completely taken over with the sofa bed folded out. Not much room at all for baggage. This really is too small for 4 adult sized people. It would be perfect for a family with 2 smaller children, but too tight for our older teens. Breakfast was ok. Front desk not overly helpful.
This is one of the nicest hotels I have used in Paris. The suite setup is ideal for a family of four. Having the kitchenette saved us lots of money on food with two teenagers and the extra room was so helpful with four of us in the room. Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.
We where a family of 4 staying for almost one week. The hotel where a pleasant surprise with nice rooms and pleasant staff. We got nice tips about local restaurants. We will definitely book this hotel on a future visit.
I used to stay to the Serotel Suites which is my favourite place to feel like home in Paris. Apartments are clean and spacious and staff is always very kind and very helpful. Tha patio is my favourite place in the hotel to have a drink and relax after a long day. I recommend this hotel in the center of the city. Thank you!
Four nights. 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Good amount of space for us - One bedroom and living room sofa coach becomes a bed. Plus small kitchenette. Nice location. Walked from the Eurostar station (about 1/2 mile) and short walk to the metro which we used every day! Very convenient to have a small grocery store right next door! Breakfast was modest but the staff did there best to accommodate us. Super friendly staff ensured they took care of us. We got the personal phone number in case we had any issues getting around, received great suggestions on what to see and do, and ensured we had our favorites at breakfast (even packing a few pastries for us for the day) and proactively arranged airport transportation for us so we had our needed timing. Not a contemporary hotel and the sofa bed could be a bit more comfortable, but the value for this clean, conveniently located and caring staff made it worth it!…
Our stay didn't start out well. When we reached at midnight after a long journey, we were told that our reservation doesn't exist. We had to look for a different hotel for that night. Things changed from the next day, as they found out they made a mistake. The manager, Claire personally came & apologized and offered to do anything to make our stay better. Very nice hotel & with a great staff. For tips on food, things to do, reach out to Alberto, the front desk manager who is very helpful & knowledgable. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed the hotel. Close to metro station (5 mins) which makes it easy to access most attractions in Paris. Buffet breakfast limited but enough to start the day. On the morning we arrived the staff made an extra effort to accomodate us although check in was not til 2pm. Would definitely recommend.
Only 20 rooms in this hotel, which is nice. We were 2 adults, 1 teenager and a tween. We booked a suite and my kids managed in the sofa bed while we had the room. It was tight but worked for the time we were in the room. We were so exhausted from walking all day, combined with a random heat wave, that there wasn't any fuss in just crashing in our beds, even if we would have liked more space. There is a small kitchenette, which we didn't use, other than the flat ware and mini fridge. Oh, and it is a nice benefit that the toilet and shower/sink are 2 separate rooms even if they are small spaces. They offer a simple yet satisfying breakfast with pastries, hard boiled eggs, fruit, cured meats, cheeses, cereals, coffee and juices. It was certainly good enough to get us on our way and take some of the small cheeses with us for snacks as we walked later in the day. With tax we paid about $300 a night, were here 6 nights, and would stay here again. We have also stayed in St Germaine, which is more bohemian and a bit noisier compared to this local.…
