Recently we stayed for a week at the Hotel des Arts. The staff, especially Maud, were friendly, and could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and the toiletries provided spoke the romance of Paris. Add to this, the hotel was well located to shops, eateries and two metro stations. I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly.

Hotel des Arts is a great little hotel situated in (as the name implies) Montmartre. The room was clean and and not to small. Cafes, restaurants and shopping virtually at the end of the street. Also nice and close to the Metro. Friendly staff, so all round a good experience. Would stay here again.

This very nice and boutique style hotel was overall very good and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is themed around love and the room we stayed in which was a deluxe was well worth it. The extra space in the room is worth the upgrade. The staff were very attentive and very smiley and nice. Stephane was particular helpful...

We had a very good time staying at this hotel. The costumer service was very good and the rooms are very nice and clean. We would be more than happy to stay here again and everything is just as it should be to the price you are paying

Hotel offers a great location to cafes, metro, restaurants and other attractions. The commercial shopping district is about a 12 to 15 minute walk to the Opera section of Paris. The hotel was cozy and clean with friendly staff. Although he weren't supposed to check in until 3, we were given a room around 11:00am. Elevator was very tight but...

My husband and I stayed for two nights during our honeymoon. The hotel was very small and old fashioned, but very nice. The staff was very friendly, and very helpful in finding a place for a nice dinner the evening we checked in.

Booked this hotel based on the good reviews it had on trip advisor and it didn't disappoint. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the room was clean, nicely decorated and perfect for our stay. The location of the hotel is in a lovely area of Montmartre and very close to the metro so easy to get around the city....

The fact that this is our fourth stay at Hotel des Arts says it all and I don't need to go on. Great rooms, wonderful staff and a fantastic location just off the vibrant rue des Abbesses and within 5 minutes walk of two metro stations. Nice breakfast too.

Very clean, friendly staff, just not very comfortable with having to always leave the key at the front desk all the time. Expect very small rooms. Rooms also very warm during the winter season. Just remember to ask staff on how to turn it down a notch. Very convenient location!

This cute little boutique hotel is located at the heart of Montmartre, close to everything (subways, bus stops, Sacre Coeur...). The staff is very helpful and super friendly. The rooms are small but the bathrooms are quite spacious. Will not choose another hotel if I go back to Paris.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
