A perfect hotel for a weekend break. The staff are very friendly, rooms clean and comfortable with great toiletries provided. The hotel is close to both scare Coeur and the Moulin rouge. Highly recommended

Great location, close to Metro stations Abbese & Blance (opposite Moulin Rouge) one line change from Gard du Nord, just off a lively street full of restaurants and bars. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are immaculate.

Well appointed and cozy. This little hotel is just perfect. The rooms are very small but lets not forget that we are in Paris. I will be back for sure and will recommend this place to my friends too. Thanks guys.

clean hotel, well decorated and in a quiet location, helpful staff, handy for Gare du Nord, good breakfast with good choice, co-operative about leaving luggage and located in an interesting area. We would be happy to stay there again and recommend to friends.

Highly recommended small hotel which punches above its weight. Hotel des Arts offered us the perfect base for 'Paris in the Spring time'. Very friendly and welcoming, our Romantic Room was beautiful as well as practical (eg three shower heads in the bathroom!), balcony and very comfortable king size bed. We didn't try the breakfast here because there are too...

If you're looking for luxury hotel / B&B, this isn't it. What it IS is spotlessly clean, easy to find, 24 hour reception cover and decent Wi-Fi connection throughout. The rooms aren't huge but are well laid out and have a comfortable bed, great en-suite shower (ours had a bath too) with fabulous water pressure and lovely toiletries provided. We...

I have visited Paris a few times but never got to Montmartre. It is now my favourite location and I will always stay here in future. The hotel is in a great location, close to the metro with easy access to all the sights of this wonderful city. Rooms are small but perfectly adequate with good bathroom, comfortable beds and...

My wife and I stayed in this quaint little hotel for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's location was great for our arrival on the Eurostar. ADVICE...use official taxi rank at Gare Du Nord as unlicensed taxi's are rife outside and we were almost pushed into one unaware on arrival by tout's...just say NO! The rooms at the hotel...

We stayed only one night. We enjoyed the area. We had been to Paris a few times before but had never made it to this neighborhood. The neighborhood is fantastic by lots of quaint shops and restaurants, The location was fantastic. The room we had was upgraded and was really quite large for Paris standards. It included both a shower...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
