I loved staying in this hotel while in Paris. The location is perfect, close to restaurants and shops. It was easy for me to get around town from here. The neighborhood is very friendly and "parisian". The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and well decorated. I would stay here again.

Just a lovely little hotel - clean and tidy with modern bathroom facilities. The staff were lovely and very thoughtful. I am gluten intolerant and their front desk person went searching for gluten free bread on her way home one evening. Highly recommend it!

A cheapoair.com special find and what a treat, on a side street in lovely, noel-lit Montmartre. Great price, room was impeccable and perfect size, service was so friendly, most helpful. Special shout out to Maud, Alexandra et tout! Really made our stay lovely. Will DEFINITELY book again.

I am so thankful for the outstanding people and service at the Hotel de Arts in Montmartre. The place was inviting, charming, and very well managed. When I needed to rest and relax, I was able to do that. When I wanted to go somewhere, the manager and staff were all very helpful and professional. I had a great time....

Cozy hotel in a lovely area, the view from our room (63) was fantastic with a view of the city and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The room was small, but had what was needed for a great stay including a bathtub.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Nicest staff. Room was small, but very cozy. Lots of charm. Close to everything including Metro. Great restaurants nearby. Bathroom good size. Even had a view to Eiffel Tower.

Stayed for two nights at the Hotel des Arts. Room on the top floor, with the Eiffel Tour sparkling in the distance (leaning out slightly). Fantastic location, 5 minutes walk from Blanche or Abbesses metro. More chic than the area around Pigalle, and more authentic than the tourist area around the Sacre Coeur. Plenty of restaurants within one minute walk...

Lovely and friendly, clean comfortable hotel in a good location. Small ish room (53) and cramped toilet but it's a very old building so it's to be expected. Modern fittings very clean with some nice little touches.....USB supply in the table lamp for example. Continental breakfast and drinks throughout the day but no tea or coffee in the rooms which...

We chose this charming little hotel because of its location: just off the Rue des Abbesses, in Monmartre village......and what an excellent choice it was! We had a warm welcome, an upgrade, a lovely room (La Goulue) overlooking the street the hotel is on (Rue Tholoze) and tasty continental breakfasts in the cosy basement dining room. The whole place was...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.

“La Goulue looks out over the street....if you want a very quiet room perhaps ask for one at the other side of the hotel. We were aware of heavy traffic at approx 5am each day.”

“Every room is different, based on a different artist. Our room on the top storey (6) had a view of the dome of the Sacre Coeur, but the elevator only goes to the fifth floor, so I would recommend that room for those who can navigate a flight of stairs with luggage. We loved it!!”
