As first impressions go, Hotel Malown leaves a lot to be desired. The hallways are old, smelly and not very clean. However, the rooms are better than you would have expected based on that first impression. Other than the dirty carpet floor, the rooms are quite clean. The beds are not spectacular but ok and the bathroom has a nice...

My daughter in law had booked one night in this hotel on line as a friend was living nearby. She could not go as a wedding had been brought forward so offered my husband and I the room as she could not cancel as had been booked on line with booking.com. As the original date was just after the shootings...

When I tried to enter my room on the second day I found out that my card was not working. Not sure what went wrong at checking but the receptionist explained me I should have paid when checking-in which I was not asked to do the day before. I took the opportunity to report that the coffee machine and hair...

A friend and I stayed in Hotel Le Malown for a weekend - it's a few minutes walk from the train station (get off at Madeline) and it's just around the corner. The hotel is in the 8th arr so its close to the opera and is about 20 -30 minutes walk from the Louvre. The hotel itself was clean...

We have recently stayed at Le Malown and came away feeling disappointed. The location is brilliant and probably the main reason behind the price. Upon arrival I was stood waiting for 10 minutes while the receptionist stood and spoke to his colleague. Following this I was asked to settle the full amount £300+ even after my card had been pre...

Very good value for the style and location but be aware that the landings are shared with private apartments to the left and the hotel rooms to the right. It would be better for security to have a badge access to the hotel room corridor although I didnt have any issues. Perfect modern room. Missing coffee machine and TV remote...

I spent 4 nights at Hotel Le Malown during a business trip and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is small, to be sure, but it's very well done. The rooms are well designed and feel chic rather than claustrophobic, and I found the furniture and closets very accommodating. I believe the hotel was recently renovated; some of the images...

Paris, the city of romance and hotel rooms so small that you stumble over your suitcase when stepping out of bed. Like most hotels in town, Le Malown has also been cramped into a building too small for its purpose, but unlike the plethora of other Parisian hotels I stayed in over the years - Le Malown actually got it...

The room was pretty small however it was very clean and tidy. We thought we'd have a bit more space considering we had to use the sofa bed which took up most of the living room. The phone and the air con in the hotel room did not work therefore we went to reception to ask for help but it...

“The hotel rooms are on floors 1-5, accessed via either a spacious spiral stair or a TINY elevator. Although good daylight gets in the windows there isn't much to see from the top, so wwould recommend requesting a lower floor if you don't fancy the climb or cramped lift.”
