The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.

With the exception of the location the hotel is in a low hospitality level and definitely overpriced. The "design" of the standard rooms is "old" dark and depressive. The breakfast includes only the basic. The bread was finished and when we asked for this the answer was that we c

The hotel was fine. Clean room, bathroom etc. Staff not overly friendly but they were very busy with it being the Paris Motor Show, which was the reason we booked the hotel - Porte De Versailles being 5 minutes down the road by taxi (couldn't work out how to pay for a ticket fo

A few weeks ago I stayed three nights at Idéal Hôtel Design in Paris. Being a travel professional I always try to write a review concentrating on the facts and omitting any emotion.

Please tell me the latest position of this hotel. And how far it is from the centrealso area. And may be the taxi charge from the airport to this place. Please also tell me what type of whether I will get in paris on 3rd to 7th of June.
Hotel is located in the 14th arrondissement, which is south - central Paris. Exit 2 of the Porte d'Orléans Metro station (Line 4) is literally right outside the hotel front door. Metro to the city center takes 20-30 minutes, depending on where you need to go. If you must take a taxi, it'll cost around €50, but I wouldn't bother with a taxi from CDG, as the train (RER-B €11) runs directly from the airport to the city center and you can take the Metro from there. Download the Paris transit app called "Next Stop Paris" to your smartphone, it is a great help. Weather should be beautiful then, which is why everyone wants to be there at that time. I hope this helps, have fun.
