Neighborhood
Bercy / Nation
Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighborhood where real Parisians make their homes.

As a rule, I only write complimentary reviews, but Hotel Palym was so disappointing, I am making an exception. My two kids and I booked the Paris hotel for 4 nights. We arrived at the hotel close to midnight and checked in eager to get to sleep. In the dimly lit room, I excused

Stayed here with my other half and my parents in February. Boyfriend was running the paris marathon and we booked this hotel very last minute, purely for location to the station. In the end we didn't even get in the train as we Uber'ed everywhere. Booked 2 double rooms. One was

Great little hotel, clean, quiet and comfortable. Central to all of Paris and 3 minutes from Gare de Lyon. Very good breakfast buffet, modern rooms and good value. If you are using the metro or taking the TGV this is a perfect location. Many restaurants nearby.

Yes you can take the train. It is the cheapest way. You can google it.check out the metro paris map. Take the metro from the airport, change train at chatelet les halles. Take the yellow line. Stop at Gare de Lyon station. Take exit 4. It is just walking distance. Btw, I arrived Palym from Lyon. And took a taxi to CDG.

We needed to get from CDG to out hotel and researched the RER and metro solution. However, we ended up taking a taxi for 3 adults and it was faster, more relaxed and cheaper. It was a flat rate of 35 euros for all of us. I would do a taxi again especially when they help with your luggage.

Our room had a safe but the battery was low and I did not want to put stuff in and maybe not be able to open it when I needed my items. The front desk had a repairman on notice and in the meantime they kept my items at the front desk.
