The Hotel FABRIC is located between Republique and Bastille in the heart of Paris. This former workshop was transformed into a chic and stylish hotel. The 33 guestrooms are as stylish as they are comfortable. Their decor plays on the dualities which have always enlivened the neighbourhood: graphic shapes and industrial furniture from the factories sit alongside highly colourful, quality fabrics evoking the workers' allotment gardens of the Menilmontant quarter.

All you want in a Paris hotel: clean, quiet, safe, service oriented. We stayed there for 4 nights, used the breakfast service twice, and the self-service bar twice. Staff are friendly, service oriented. Recommend!

This hotel was so charming. The district this hotel is located in used to be an area where clothing was made, so the hotel has a lot of antiques and décor about sewing garments. The rooms have large French window doors that open to a lovely garden area. The bed and pillows

First, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, always providing dinner recommendations, tickets, reservations and Metro directions. They also arranged for airport taxi service when we departed. We arrived at the hotel early in the morning after a red-eye flight for USA.

At the airport you have to make sure you get to terminal 2 as that is where the RER B is at. Take that to Gare du Nord. From there, switch to the Metro 5 train heading in the direction to Place d'Italie. You'll take that for 4 stops to Estación de Oberkampf and its just a quick 5 minute walk to Hotel Fabric. If you have Google maps on your phone you can see the transit directions.

Paris is one of my favorite cities and I have been there many times. I always have a car and driver meet me at the airport since I stay at different hotels and sometimes take public transport back. This past time I stayed at Hotel Fabric and our arrival was the very first Saturday of the Yellow Vests protests so the hotel told us not to take a car but to take public transport. The RER went from the airport to the metro and it was easy to find the hotel after getting off the metro although I was with a friend who has a great sense of direction, I do not. There are also often other protests in Paris and one time in a car back to the airport the taxi drivers had a protest and blocked the road to the airport so we had to get out and walk with our bags so I'd say check carefully if a car might incur delays. Do be forewarned though that often in the metro you have to go up very long stairs which can be a problem with luggage. I travel very light. I'd email the hotel and follow their advice.

Where is the nearest parking and what is the cost?
The best you can do is email the Hotel, they usually respond very quickly. We used public transport and walked everywhere
