Spent a fun few days in Paris and this hotel made everything so easy! The location is perfect for restaurants, sightseeing and shopping. The room was spacious and very clean. The entire hotel was very quiet and the staff was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again!
Our daughter suggested we take a 2 day break in Paris while visiting her family in Geneva. We took the TGV, highly recommended. We chose the hotel because we had stayed at Relais an Chateaux properties over the years. The hotel is located near some of the main shopping areas and within easy walking of the Musee D Orsay and the Orangerie. The junior suite was a good size. The bathroom was also a good size. The bed was very comfortable. We did not have the breakfast which was not included in our deal but had lunch and dinner in one of the excellent restaurants in the area. For those with more culinary aspirations Maxim’s is round the corner. The only odd thing was that the excellent selection of books consisted of the book spines glued to the wall.
The room service needs to be improved. The first evening, there was no room service at all. Another evening, the maid entered the room without knocking. The breakfast quality is POOR. No fresh squeezed juices, not too much bread... For 29 Euros, it's a ripoff, sorry to say. Definitely NOT at the standard I've experienced in other Relais & Châteaux places.
Pleasant stay in gracious mansion. Beautiful full breakfast. Most staff are new, owing to Covid closure, and are accommodating. Great location near Arc de La Concorde and newly renovated exquisite museum Hotel de La Marine.
This hotel only has 16 suites , all around 40msq, which is unusual in Paris or big cities . It’s sophisticated and classy , basically on Rue St Honore so a fantastic position to walk around from . You swap the offerings of a large hotel group for size ( I don’t mind this ) but if you want a big gym , spa , room service etc etc this is not for you . There is no bar or fancy restaurant ( I’m not sure if there even is a restaurant there but plenty very close by ) the exercise area is underground and has 3 pieces of equipment …. I didn’t use it but looked new . The room was AMAZING. Great separate dressing room , loads of drawers and super quiet . The bathroom had a huge shower , double sink and also loads of space ( deep drawers and cupboards for toiletries ) I loved this hotel and would highly recommend. It’s personal and really great .…
This is a real 5 star hotel, they really deserve their rating. The rooms are very quiet, the beds are comfortable. Very friendly staff. This hotel made our weekend in Paris memorable. Thank you so much!
If looking for a beautiful quiet hotel with 5* amenities, a friendly and gracious staff, and wonderful croissants, there is no better place than this hotel. It is easy walking distance to the Opera House, shopping, and great restaurants. At the end of the day a comfortable and spacious room in which to catch up on emails or a good book. If workout is something you do when traveling, the gym has lates equipment. With only 16 rooms it an oasis in the city!!
The location was excellent . Room was gorgeous . However the service was dismal . The television did not work for the entire stay. The front desk usually has one person including the manager during the day. They told us they would get the technician but he never came. They were totally not apologetic . Attitude was technician wasn’t available. No updates . Every time we asked it would be “ well maybe tomorrow, I don’t know ! “ Paying a premium price , they don’t give you even a bottle of water each daily. Only 2 small bottles for 3 people on arrival . We used the teaspoons to take some honey , next day the housekeeping kept the same dirty spoons for the coffee cups as if it was new / washed. They gave a small bottle each of shampoo and conditioner when we had 3 people. If you go to the small lounge area for breakfast there is no one there . You have to open the kitchen door and keep calling before someone comes out. Emails to book restaurants sometimes has a response n other times none. All depends who is managing the reception that day. Feels like the person hired to man the reception changes and some feel like temporary employees who don’t give a rip. When I called to ask how long it takes to get to CDG airport response was a rude “ I don’t know . One , two hours I don’t know !’” We told them we were expecting deliveries from Max Mara n Kiton. When we got back and asked if it arrived , again their standard response is “ I don’t know” . Feels like the person manning the reception do not handover any follow ups to each other. Overall a lousy attitude for a place that is part of a Relais Chateaux group . Never experienced this before in all our stays with the group . Usually excellent service. Looks good but service feels like a 3 star hotel with a poor attitude. Too bad that a lovely hotel in a great location is not matched with the a service level that would make it a truly deserving of the Relais & Chateaux brand . Attached are pictures of the TV with a computer screen overlaying the TV the entire 5 day stay…
Absolutely fabulous boutique hotel. Impeccably appointed. Every detail was thought through. Wonderful design. Great location. Right around the corner from some of the best shopping in Paris. And a great quiet night’s sleep!
Booked a JrSuit at Marquis Faubourg based on room pictures and description (mostly from expedia). Images showed a beautiful and spacious interior. However I was given the smallest room (about half of the advertised size) that serves as a second bedroom to a larger accommodation. Hope you’ll find a better place to stay! If you go for JrSuit at Marquis Faubourg specify that you DON’T WANT ROOM #43, unless you pay half-price - that’s what it really should cost, compared to advertised JrSuit!
