Le Grey Hotel is a 4 stars boutique hotel located in the 9th District, between Montmartre and the Opera Garnier, close to the Department Stores (Galeries Lafayette, Printemps), the Moulin Rouge and theaters. Liège metro station is only 100 m away and enables direct access to central Paris, the Louvre Museum, the Invalides and the Champs-Elysées. With its elegant carriage entrance, Le Grey Hotel, located in a quiet small street, appears as a sophisticated parenthesis in the heart of an authentic and lively quarter. Its great originality lies in this bold chromatic variation around the grey color which symbolizes the soul of the place. A palette of twelve refined and warm tones, a timeless waltz which turns it into a haven of peace. Le Grey Hotel has 33 rooms on 6 levels from Classic Single rooms (13sqm) to Privilege rooms (21 sqm). All of our soundproofed rooms offer the same services: air-conditioning, fiber WIFI, Flatscreen TV with international channels, safe, minibar,...

This hotel is spotlessly clean and had delightfully thoughtful details. Here is what we loved: - The staff was friendly and helpful. - The refrigerator in the room was stocked with nice free drinks. - Bed was comfortable. - Room was quiet. - The bathrooms were smallish but very up to date. (We had two rooms. One bath was bigger than the other). - free coffee in the lobby. - The decor is fresh and modern. - Overall, the hotel has a nice, cozy, boutique vibe. Here are some things to note: this hotel is a long way from most of the Paris tourist sites and was not terribly convenient during the December 2019 strikes. If you need to put 3 people in a room, it is best if they are small. Merci for a lovely stay, Le Grey!

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We are very happy to read that you enjoyed your stay with us but so sorry to hear that you couldn't easely access the areas you wanted to visit. We are actually located within walking distance to a few sites such as Montmatre, The Opera or the Galeries Lafayette departement store and we also have a couple of subway stations (5 mins walking distance) which would normally take you to many sites but unfortunately the public transportation strikes in Paris in December made everything more complicated. We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you some other time and wish you a Happy New Year. Best regards

The hotel is wonderful and clean. The rooms are fairly large for European standard. The staff were AMAZING and very friendly. It is NOT located close to the main tourist attractions but very close to two major Metro stations. It is walking distance from The Moulin Rouge and The Monmarte neighbourhood. There is always free coffee and light refreshments at the lobby.

My friend and I stayed at Le Grey for four nights. Immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the lobby and the friendly staff working at the hotel. I appreciated the small coffee bar downstairs and option to grab a croissant before heading out in the mornings. We got the room with two twins and found the beds to be very comfortable. Bathroom was a good size, my only small complaint was the shower kind of sprayed everywhere, but not a big deal. Location - we LOVE Montmartre, so it's about a 10-20 minute walk depending how high up in Montmartre you want to walk. We found it easiest to walk up past Moulin Rouge so we didn't have to walk down the main drag that Moulin Rouge is on. It's extremely close to the metro and some great brasseries too. I would definitely recommend for the location and value. Merci to Le Grey!

Decor is good and location was great to us, a few buses lines coming from the touristic areas nearby, a couple of metro stations close to it. There are a few good places to grab a bite within walking distance. Rooms are small, if you asked for 2-bed room, the beds are so close together making a queen bed room so make sure you are super comfortable with the person you share the room with. You cannot really move the beds apart due to the rest of the furniture. The room has a refrigerator and you get a free bottle of water and a chocolate bar. Our room was quiet facing the interior courtyard. Bathroom is fitted, it has a really nice shower but it can be a bit difficult to get in/out of it, the bathtub sides are quite high. There is some mold so don’t expect a squeaky clean place. Our main issue with the room was the heat. During the first 2 nights, we couldn’t sleep due to how hot it was. It’s central heat so we couldn’t adjust it and we didn’t want to open the window to avoid bugs. We called front-desk twice the second night, the person was unhelpful, and he said nothing could be done because it was fall season (it was like 12 - 18 degrees outside - early October). The following day, we talked again with the front-desk person, this time it was a different one - Frank - and he kindly solved the heat problem for us.
